I Finally get to post; I am still so full from Fridays event!!
Keep in mind—this was my VERY FIRST event ever!! Let’s talk about it!!
We really made history because it has never been anything done like this done before!! The joy in the room was unmatched!! Everyone kept telling me they can feel joy in the atmosphere!!
250+ guests… a true Gala of the Decade.
Why? Because we celebrated something more powerful than most people even realize—birth, breastfeeding, Black mothers, black fathers, and our babies.
First, I have to thank my Almighty, faithful, loving God for giving me purpose.
My husband for being the absolute best husband in the world and supporting all my endeavors!! I love you forever more!!
My entire family, spiritual family, Apostle, Dr Beverly, my volunteers, decorators, cast members, everyone that donated food, photography, videographers, best DJ in the city Mark Wallace, I mean he had everyone enjoying themselves!!
My 30 cast members—I love y’all so much. You will truly be blessed for being part of this project.
Count those decorations. The custom window frames, the large-scale breastfeeding visuals… all done with love. I had no idea the level of work she was putting in. You are officially my forever decorator.! Love you so much for sure and if you need me to do something for you I got you!! Let’s talk about the 80 ft red carpet!! You’re just so blessed!!
