🍏 Happy International Eat an Apple Day! 🍎

Did you know apples can support a healthy smile? Their crunchy texture and high water content help stimulate saliva production, which can wash away food particles and reduce acids in the mouth.

While apples don't replace brushing and flossing, they can be a smart snack choice for maintaining oral health between meals.

Enjoy an apple today and keep giving your smile something to smile about! 😁

November is TMJ Awareness Month. TMJ Disorder, or pain and irritation in the joint that attaches your jaw to your head. It's uncomfortable and can cause anything from mild pain to awful headaches.

Treatments for TMJ disorders may include stress-reducing exercises, muscle relaxants, or wearing a mouth protector (night guard) to prevent teeth grinding. If these non-surgical treatments are unsuccessful, then surgery may be needed.
