The challenges cover up and re-vamping tattoos brings has always been something I really enjoy.
Not having a clean canvas forces me to get extra creative which always leads to outcomes I still get amazed by 25 years into doing them.
It’s always so rewarding to give someone a tattoo they can be proud to show off again, it’s a little like magic. 🪄 🫟

I need to be better about sharing the amazing pieces I get to do.
I feel like the client and I always come up with things that turn out beyond expectation. It’s one of the reasons I’ve enjoyed every day of the nearly 25 years I’ve been privileged enough to do what I love.

Some more of those super clean lines and a couple awesome bonding pieces.
Having the privilege of being a part of such powerful life moments, seeing the emotions, the love that’s involved in these types of tattoos has brought me a lot of joy and reminds me that they’re are a lot of wonderful people in this world and I get to spend time with their beautiful energy. I’m definitely blessed.

I’m finally learning that taking pride in my work doesn’t make me a bad person because I do put 110% into every tattoo I do. I love what I do so seeing more and more subpar work that clients are happy with breaks my heart. It’s a privilege to do such an amazing job and the people that make it possible are the true rockstars of this industry and deserve the best. ❤️

It’s easy to love your job when you have such cool clients. All three of these canvases have been so much fun to tattoo. I love the original artwork they gave me to work with to create such amazing tattoos.
One of the most unexpected blessings that have come from tattooing is the bond I end up having with so many of my clients. I have a lifetime of stories and memories that go with every drop of ink 🫟 So many of you will never understand how much I appreciate you and how much of a difference you’ve all made in my life.

There’s still time to schedule your Out of the Darkness Walk tattoo!
It’s been a privilege to be a part of something so important, especially now more than ever so many need that extra support. Be it monetary, social, emotional or just being a part of something good, so many will benefit from the kindness this event brings to the community.
I am so blessed to be able to participate in this and am hoping to raise as much as possible by the December 31st deadline.
To contribute to a great cause and get some awesome ink for yourself all you need to do is schedule an appointment, it doesn’t have to be done before the 31st, just scheduled with a $50 deposit (all of which will go towards this years total. Any tattoos done after the deadline will have any remaining portion go towards the 2026 fund)
There’s several custom designs I have available or you can bring your own, it just has to be mental health related.

I tend to not post works in progress but sometimes I just have to break my own rules.
How cool is it that 25 years in I’m inking completely new and fresh ideas??!! Everything with the exception of the original cross on the forearm is 100% custom work no one else has and most artists would struggle to duplicate. The clean lines and original use of color mixed with a style more traditionally done in black and grey has been so exciting and fun to work with.
There may or may not be a cyborg Viking and steampunk-esc sword getting added soon.
