I'm Rachel, the owner of Nature Mama Body Care, LLC. Nearly a decade ago, while dealing with autoimmune, reproductive, and gut health issues, I realized commercial products in stores were riddled with harmful chemicals, fillers, and additives. I would flare up and react to most of what I used, and when I had my son - his skin was the same way. This is when I began my journey studying plant medicin

e and Ethnobotany. I immersed myself in formal education in the following Holistic Fields: Cosmetic Formulation Chemistry, Aromatouch Technique Massage and Clinical Aromatherapy, Metaphysical Sciences, Nutrition, and Master Reiki. My mission was to use natural solutions from the earth extracted and infused into topicals and tinctures to get the most out of their benefits. All of Nature Mama Body Care product ingredients are safe for the whole family; organically grown, wild foraged or exotically sourced. I specialize in custom orders and offer a variety of skin and body care that is deeply nourishing. Learning the unique synergy between the properties of essential oils, plants, and crystals was so intriguing - I had to share it with others. Our products contain live botanical, vitamin, and essential minerals. Some of our best sellers include whipped body cream, lotions, salves, and artisanal soaps, handcrafted bath bombs, shower steamers, massage oils and rollerballs. We also carry age defying skincare like honey face cleansers and scrubs, rose toner, moisturizers, and serums. We have helped Estheticians, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors and Energy Workers develop and launch their own custom product line that suits their client’s needs. Last year, after 7 years in business and over 800 testimonials, we opened our storefront located in the Mountains of Divide, Colorado. We feature local, like-minded artisans, crafts/decor, and are affiliates to Health and Wellness companies. We also love to share DIY videos and host educational workshops. Our initiative has gained a lot of support from the collective and we look forward to sharing our work to you here!

18th: 8th Wedding Anniversary/One year since Rae's passing *last donation bag was pumped for Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation *
19th: Leon is 11 months old 😱
20th: My 39th trip around the sun!
21st: FAMILY ZIPLINE DAY

We are quantum leaping through many highs and lows - embracing what we have every single minute !
I am truly living and creating the life of my dreams. There are so many magical things that are happening on a daily basis. ✨️ I've sat with struggles and pain deeper than the ocean, and am able to share this healing with my children. I can't even measure the Joy I feel on a faily basis with my family. For years, Nic Buckley and I have been working together (and individually) to become the best versions of ourselves. We have tackled every challenge, and opportunity as a solid unit and it SHOWS. Thirteen years together, eight years married, three businesses (and counting), two INTELLIGENT AND BEAUTIFUL boys later. 💍 You're still the one. 😉

🌏HAPPY EARTH DAY!!!

In this family owned and operated business - we do our best to preserve, heal, and restore Mother Earth as much as possible. We celebrate her daily by appreciating ALL of her abundant gifts and give back by planting natives, offering eco friendly and refill packaging options. Using ONLY natural ingredients homegrown or ordered through sustainable sources with limited carbon footprints. Our family grows food and set out bee baths, making conscious decisions DAILY to be a steward of the land. Our COMPOST is going strong and we have helped many start their own, even if they don't have a lot of space to work with..IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!
CLOTHING !! I love that my husband repairs his clothes when they rip or have holes from welding (like his carthart or other costly garmets.) and we resell and upcycle clothes like the event we will be at this weekend !
Our shampoo + conditioner bars !!! We have saved a massive amount of plastic bottles being thrown away by making this one simple change four years ago. We use a waste company that LEGITIMATELY sorts our recycling items and sends out emails updating what is acceptable and what isn't. Shout out 🫡
We use glass and stainless steel for formulations so microplastics do not sneak into your skin, or the environment. Adding to the plastic and trash crisis is a huge deal to us.
I am the one in my kitchen showing Jude how to cut the labels off of plastic and glass bottles from the store, so that we can reuse/repurpose them or so they can be properly recycled. Sometimes I wish I wasn't this way 😂 but in the end, I am teaching my children ways to reduce their waste.
It is especially important that I do so, especially in having my own business.
