On Memorial Day, we are coming together to organize and clean the storage space at TCC — an important step toward opening our future Dental Clinic and providing free dental services to members of our community who need them most.

We are excited to welcome students from Mayo High School who are joining us as volunteers for this effort. Together, we will tackle every shelf, every box, and every corner of the space — united by a shared purpose.

Emily, our nurse at TCC, led a class for University of Minnesota/Rochester nursing students, Community Health class. She shared valuable insights from our community, emphasizing the ongoing challenges of accessing healthcare and insurance. This experience serves as a reminder that nursing goes beyond the clinic—it’s about building trust and connecting with people where they are.

The Center Clinic had the privilege of hosting a cooking demonstration on how to make arepas. Adriana, a dedicated TCC board member, led the session and brought the rich flavors of Colombia to Kasson-Mantorville students. Her presentation enriched Mrs. Lindquist’s international cuisines class, allowing students to appreciate authentic global traditions.
There’s something truly special about learning through food. It opens our hearts, ignites our curiosity, and reminds us of the world’s immense size and interconnectedness.

Despite the inclement weather, our community came together to celebrate our Christmas posada with joy and gratitude. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making this beautiful event possible. A heartfelt thank you to the Salvation Army for their support in distributing meals boxes to many families in our community .
