Do you have a passion, profession, or expertise that could benefit local teens? Or know someone who does?

The Dothan Adolescent Community Youth Advisory Council (DAC YAC) is looking for engaging speakers to spend an hour with 45–47 high school students, ages 15–19, talking about topics that promote their health, well-being, personal growth, and success.

We’re looking for speakers on topics like:

🧠 Mental Health & Emotional Well-Being
📚 Healthy Study Habits
🥗 Nutrition & Healthy Living
📱 Social Media Awareness
💰 Money Management & Financial Literacy
🚫 Substance Abuse Prevention
😌 Stress Management
💪 Leadership & Personal Development
❤️ Healthy Relationships
🎓 College & Career Preparation
🎯 Goal Setting & Time Management
💼 Career Readiness & Entrepreneurship
✨ Confidence, Communication & Self-Esteem
…and anything else you think could positively impact today’s teens!

Our meetings are 6:00–7:00 PM, and we have several dates available:

What an incredible night at DAC YAC Trivia Night! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event possible — our volunteers, sponsors, donors, teams, families, community supporters, and everyone who participated. Your support means so much and directly helps us continue empowering and investing in the youth of our community. ❤️

Congratulations to our Trivia Night champions, Team Secret Service, for taking home the grand prize of $4,000 — that’s $1,000 per team member! 🏆💰

We also want to give a very special congratulations to Jillian Hogan for receiving a $1,000 award for contributing the most to DAC YAC this year and for being one of our most involved and dedicated members. Your hard work, leadership, and commitment have not gone unnoticed, and we are so proud of you! 👏
