Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind is building a new strategic plan to guide us into the future, but we can’t do it without you! To ensure our programs, services, and support actually meet the needs of our community, we need more than your presence. We need your perspective.
This is your seat at the table. Whether you are a student, a parent, a consumer, an alumnus, or a community partner, your experience is the blueprint for our success.

🏀 Join Us for Basketball Camp at the Alabama School for the Deaf! 🏀
Athletes will take part in an exciting week of basketball training focused on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.

The camp will be led by Anton Jackson of Adroit Bucket, offering a dynamic, inclusive environment where athletes can elevate their game. With expert coaching and a strong emphasis on communication, collaboration, and performance, players will grow both on and off the court through the Adroit Bucket training philosophy.

📅 June 1–5, 2026 | 📍 Talladega, AL

Join us for a fun-filled, language-rich week designed for students returning to Woods or LSLP — as well as future Pre-K and Kindergarten students for fall 2026!

Your child will enjoy a creative, engaging environment focused on building language, confidence, and connection — and we’ll wrap up the week with an exciting trip to AIDB’s horse arena! 🐴✨

Choose the program that fits your child:
🖐️ ASL/English Bilingual Program
For students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and use American Sign Language (ASL) as their primary mode of communication.

🗣️ Listening & Spoken Language Program (LSLP)
For students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and use Spoken Language as their primary mode of communication.

📌 Important Details:
✔️ FREE – No cost to families
✔️ Spots are limited
✔️ Transportation is not provided
✔️ Application submission does not guarantee acceptance
