It is with great sadness that I share that our friend Baron, the owner of B&E Tattoo Co., passed away this morning. Baron truly loved his job. I think what he loved the most was the people. Baron never met a stranger and his clients quickly became friends. He had a great charisma and enthusiasm for entertaining his clients. He loved telling stories and jokes. He retired and closed B&E in 2017, but he won't be forgotten. It was my pleasure to have had him as a boss.

Friends and clients, today was the final day of business for B&E Tattoo Co. We didn't "go out of business" per se, this has been our plan for some time. Baron has been in the business for over 40 years and has owned and operated B&E in Dothan for 20 years. Baron had been planning to completely retire and close the business last December when the lease on the building was up but decided to extend the lease by six months in order to retire after one more tax return season.

As for myself, I've worked pretty much six days a week for the last several years until at times I feel very burned out on tattooing. I need some hard earned time with my wife and kids and more time to enjoy life. Therefore, I have decided not to go to another tattoo shop and am announcing my (early) retirement as well from the tattoo business. I'm ready for a new adventure in another field.

I would like to say on behalf of Baron and myself that we thank you for your business and patronage. We've had a lot of great times and met some truly great and fascinating people. I hope you've enjoyed us as well.

I would lastly like to say thank you to Baron for giving me a job when I really needed it and for putting up with me these last few years. I'd also like to congratulate Baron on his 40+ years in the business and for his twenty years running B&E in Dothan. A LOT of other tattoo shops (at least twelve that I can think of off the top of my head) have come and gone during that time. B&E has been the oldest tattoo business in Dothan for the last ten years or so, and it's been a good run. Time to relax and enjoy life, Baron. You've earned it.

We have recently dropped the prices of our piercings! Most piercings will now be $28. This includes navel (belly button), lips, tongue, eyebrow, any ear piercing except industrial ($45), nostril, septum and ni**le ($5 for both). Share this with your friends to be entered to win a free piercing!
