You can be the finest slice of chocolate cake… and someone will still say no. 🍰
And you know what? That’s okay.
As a small business owner, especially one who creates handmade, natural products, I’ve learned that not everyone is going to be your customer — and that doesn’t mean what you’re creating isn’t amazing.
Someone may love their traditional body wash. Someone else may not care about natural ingredients. Someone may simply prefer something different.
And that's okay.
Because there are also the people who do care about what goes on their skin.
The ones who appreciate handmade.
The ones who love knowing where their products come from.
The ones who want to reduce unnecessary packaging.
And the ones who get excited about discovering something new.
Those are my people. 🥰
I don’t need to be everyone’s cup of tea (or their bar of soap 😉). I just want to keep creating products that I believe in and sharing them with the people who appreciate them.
So, to all my fellow small business owners: keep showing up, keep creating, and keep being your deliciously authentic self.
