One year ago today, my life changed in a moment.

After five years of caring for my mother, I stood beside her as she unexpectedly took her last breath.

And in that moment, I couldn’t imagine what life would look like without her.

Grief has taught me something about moments.

Some moments will bring you to your knees.
Some will change everything you thought your life would be.
Some will leave you wondering how you will ever move forward.

But a moment is not the end of your story.

Today, one year later, I’m choosing to simply be.

To breathe.
To reflect.
To remember.
And most importantly… to live.

Because if losing my mother taught me anything, it taught me that life is precious—and tomorrow is not promised.

So take the trip.
Love your people.
Forgive.
Laugh.
Create the memories.
Pursue the dream God placed inside of you.

Stop waiting for the perfect time to live.

Whatever season you’re facing right now, remember:

The clouds don’t mean the sun disappeared.

This too shall pass.

Keep going.
Keep believing.
Keep living.

Because there is life beyond the pain.
There is purpose beyond the season.

And there is life beyond the moment….

⛳️ Wellness on the Green! ⛳️

What an incredible experience at the Cornerstone Golf Classic hosted by the Douglas County Chamber!

Essentials Wellness Plus was honored to serve as a Hole Sponsor, bringing a little hydration, wellness, and good energy to the course. 🌿⛳️

To every golfer who stopped by our hole, sampled our products, shared a laugh, asked about Essentials Wellness Plus, or simply took a moment to connect with us — THANK YOU! Your support and enthusiasm truly made the day special.

I’m also incredibly grateful for the connections, conversations, and opportunities that came from simply showing up and being present in our community.

This is what community looks like: businesses supporting businesses, relationships being built, and new doors opening.

Thank you to the Douglas County Chamber and everyone involved in making the Cornerstone Golf Classic such a wonderful event.

Essentials Wellness Plus is proud to be locally owned right here in Douglasville and committed to bringing holistic wellness into our community — one connection, one experience, and one event at a time.

Before Essentials Wellness Plus became a brand, it was a vision.

A vision to create wellness products with intention.
A commitment to handcrafted quality.
A desire to help families make wellness part of their everyday lives.

And through every season, Elderberry Syrup has remained one of the products at the heart of it all.

Handcrafted in small batches.
Made with intention.
Created by a woman who still believes that what we put into our bodies matters.

I’m not just the face behind Essentials Wellness Plus.

I’m the founder.
I’m the formulator.
I’m the woman behind the bottle. 💜

And we’re only getting started.
