We know how exciting a new tattoo feels — and how important the first days of care are. Here’s our friendly, simple aftercare routine to keep your fresh ink vibrant: wash gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap, pat dry, then apply a thin layer of healing ointment 2–3 times daily. Keep the original bandage on for 2–4 hours (or follow your artist’s instructions), avoid swimming, sun exposure, and heavy exercise, and resist picking at scabs. Wear loose clothing and keep moisturizing even after healing to protect color long-term.
