For over ten years, Jerry Waltz kept SpringVale running.
The heat stayed hot. The A/C ran cold. The lights glowed brightly. Leaks, drips, squeaks, creaks, bugs and mice all trembled at the sound of his jingle-jangling keys as he approached the next menace to SpringVale’s day-to-day operations.
While Jerry may not have provided services in an exam room, he was the one who made our waiting rooms safe, the offices comfortable, and treated everyone who walked through our doors with respect, kindness, and compassion.
We’re certainly going to miss hearing his stories and having him listen to ours. Lightening the mood with his subtle and wry sense of humor. Above all, we will forever appreciate his visceral disgust and relentless vengeance toward bedbugs.
After a decade of keeping SpringVale in working order, we couldn’t be happier to see Jerry passing along the keys so that he may enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
In his farewell email to the employees of SpringVale, he left us with this message: "I will miss you all and just remember one thing I've learned: 'We're all in this together' is a whole lot better than 'every man for himself.'"
Well said, Jerry.
Congratulations on your retirement...and rock on!
