We are very happy to announce the addition of Wendy Read, PMHNP-BC, to SpringVale Health Centers' psychiatric team.

Wendy brings more than two decades of experience in healthcare and is now an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her background includes community mental health, crisis nursing while completing her NP training, and inpatient psychiatric experience.

Working with children ages 6 through adulthood, Wendy has expertise in treating ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. Wendy is also experienced in medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and long-acting injectable psychiatric medications.

SpringVale Health Centers is hosting our second Sports Physical Walk-In Clinic for area students this Friday, June 12, 2026, at RapidCare: Medical & Behavioral Health Urgent Care, located at 155 Garland Drive SW, New Philadelphia.

No appointment is necessary! Just walk in and get your sports physical completed so you're ready for summer camps, practices, and the upcoming school sports season.

Please join us in welcoming Alex Milleman, PhD, LPCC-S, to SpringVale Health Centers!

Alex brings years of experience providing behavioral health services to adolescents and adults. His patient-centered approach focuses on assessing and helping individuals with a wide range of behavioral health concerns, working with individuals to develop effective coping strategies, improve functioning, and work toward meaningful, individualized goals.

Appointments are now available for adolescents ages 14+ and and adults at our Hospital Drive location in Dover. To schedule an appointment with Alex, call 330.343.6631.

Edee is joined by her granddaughters Esther and Kobrika who are cuddled up with their fuzzy bunnies, Cookie and Cracker. 🐰🐰

And this time, we got a bonus guest appearance from Lauren’s daughter, Aria, along with their family pup, Scooby. 🐾

Scooby gets VERY excited anytime a camera comes out, so Aria kindly stepped in to provide her best “happy, drooling puppy” impression for her photo.

In observance of Memorial Day, all SpringVale offices, including our pharmacy, will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026.

For Mental Health Awareness Month and Pet Appreciation Month, we’re continuing to highlight the people of SpringVale...along with their pets that keep life interesting. 🐾

Those who use SpringVale's pharmacy will likely recognize Margaret Snyder’s friendly face. Since joining SpringVale as a Pharmacy Tech in December, Margaret quickly became known for her kindness, positive attitude, and the way she advocates for those who trust SpringVale with their care.

But at home...she's outnumbered by very strong personalities.

Coco, the little pup, likes to stick her nose everywhere she's not supposed to...and Charlie, the bigger pup, is said to be a complete angel who can do no wrong. Bella the cat? Maragaret said Bella is convinced she’s a dog and begs for snacks, rings a bell to go outside, and keeps her family entertained along the way.
