About 80% of families receiving federal Child Care and Development Fund assistance are single-parent households. The program has historically been structured around helping low-income parents work, attend school, or participate in job training.

Now the Trump administration is considering expanding that same pool of subsidies to some married families with a stay-at-home parent.

The anti-abortion attack on mifepristone has a very simple formula:

Decide abortion must be stopped.

Then manufacture the evidence to justify stopping it.

Cherry-picked data. Junk science. Misleading statistics. Debunked claims recycled as “new concerns.”

Because when the evidence doesn’t support your agenda, apparently the solution is to attack the evidence.

Mifepristone isn’t the problem.

Women having control over their own pregnancies is.
