Rooting In Nature LLC 🌲Certified Forest Therapy Guide - Mindful and restorative outdoor experiences to (re)connect deeper with yourself & nature.

Brittany Carr is a certified Forest Therapy Guide with a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for sharing the healing power of nature and mindfulness. Whether she’s hiking NH’s challenging mountains, exploring new places, camping, paddleboarding on a quiet lake or river, or simply sitting in stillness among the trees, Brittany believes that nature has the ability to heal and transform us—physi

cally, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Brittany’s journey into forest therapy was inspired by her own personal experiences in nature. For years, she turned to the outdoors to find peace, strength, and clarity. Immersing herself in the natural world, she discovered how deeply transformative it can be. Driven by these beautiful experiences, Brittany pursued her certification as a Forest Therapy Guide through The Forest Therapy School to help others heal and connect deeper with themselves and nature. In addition to guiding, Brittany is an artist creating nature-inspired wood pieces and photography. A Montserrat College of Art graduate, she blends her creative talents with her love for the outdoors. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys yoga, cooking, writing, singing, dancing, and spending time with her two cats, Loki and Mia. Her mission is to help, inspire, and foster personal growth and community connection through outdoor experiences, creativity, and mindfulness.

🥾🍺Trails & Ales: Mount Kearsarge - Wow, what a beautiful, clear and warm day after all the rain we had. Our hiking crew went up the rocky trails that look north to the Whites with 360 views from the summit. This popular hike gets busy, so be mindful and plan ahead and always remember to leave no trace!

Special thank you to .beer for hosting our post-hike celebration and the generous discount!

🌲🔎Day 1 of Woodland Wanderers program was so much fun! The kiddos received their own nature field journals to record their observations over the next few weeks. We walked from the school to the trail and commons, did introductions and shared our favorite things about nature, drew shadows of plants, found different colors and textures, used our senses, and even found a cool bug friend on the tree! Couldn’t have asked for better weather! ☀️ Looking forward to exploring more together next week!

🌅Join us for a slow, intentional evening outdoors as we hike to a scenic summit and unwind with tea at sunset. We’ll take our time on the way up, then settle in together to watch the sky transition from day to night as the sun dips below the horizon. After sunset, we’ll head back down with headlamps, experiencing the trail in a whole new way.

It’s a simple, grounding way to end the day outside—and a welcoming way to experience the trail in a different light.
