Do you feel stressed all the time?

Do you have so many things on your to do list that when you just look at it it causes complete overwhelm?

Does the workload at your job have a way of multiplying out of nowhere? That just when you think you’re ahead some new and urgent deliverable pops up?

If any or all of these sound familiar then I want to invite you to my free 5 day challenge:

5 Days to Feel Less Overwhelmed

Each day I will post a 5-10 minute video in the FaceBook group discussing a different topic. The topic will focus on what causes stress and I will give you a simple action to take each day that will start lightening your load.

It will only take you 10-15 minutes each day.

The videos are recorded and will be available each morning for you to watch when it’s convenient for you.

At the end of the week you will have an understanding of where the stress is coming from in your life and would have already taken steps to reduce it.

I will be in the group each day answering any questions you have.

It all starts next Monday, August 31st.

If you want in, click this link to join the FaceBook group: https://lnkd.in/ehY9rqBz.

See you there!

What’s standing between you and your goals?

Time?
Money?
Fear?

I talk to so many women who tell themselves that someday they will…
Start a business.
Make their health a priority.
Learn a new skill.

But the thing is… someday never comes.

There will always be something that pops up seemingly out of nowhere.

And when that happens we have a choice: 1) let it derail our dreams or 2) overcome the challenge and move forward no matter what.

You see I opted for #1 many times in my life. And once I was through the challenge I was left with regret that I let time pass and lost focus on my goals.

But when I learned how to choose the latter and prioritize what I wanted, things changed drastically.

I not only moved the needle toward my goal but I also learned how to become the person who does what she says she’s going to do and who overcomes challenges. When this happens I always feel like everything is upleveling.

I feel so proud that I’m showing up for myself and it has a ripple effect throughout my life. I am more consistent in how I show up for others, for my work, you name it.

Now this is not always easy (the things that get in the way are called challenges for a reason) - it’s a daily and sometimes moment by moment choice. Our brains like repetition and like to keep things simple. So when we go and change something up and try something new, it takes effort.

But I can say for sure, this effort is always worth it.

If you have a goal or a dream you want to pursue and you’re ready to go after it, I can help. I work with women to figure out what’s standing in their way of their goals so they’re no longer waiting for someday to show up. Rather, they go out and make it happen.

Because they want to.
Because they’re dreams are important.
Because they’re worthy.

Send me a message if you’d like to chat and learn more about how I can help you turn someday into today.

I just came back from an amazing one week vacation down Ocean City, NJ. My husband, kids and I had the most fun. (It was also pretty tiring for my husband and I but well worth it.)

My family and I like to get away to the shore twice a year - it’s important that we unplug from our normal day-to-day life, spend time together and relax. We love to go to the beach and go out for ice cream at night.

But what usually happens for me is that I don’t relax or start to unwind until about Wednesday. And at that point we only have a couple days left of the vacation.

I’m full of sadness that our time away will be over in the blink of an eye and upset with myself that I wasn’t fully present for the first half of the trip.

It used to take me days to get my mind off of work and other responsibilities. My body may have been down the shore but my mind was a million miles away. I was tired and stressed that when my girls asked me to do something like play in the sand, I would say ‘tomorrow’ or ‘in a little bit.’ But those times never came.

And when the week was over, I would spend the car ride home full of regret and longing for another trip to make up for my lack of doing things.

But this vacation was different. I decided on day 1 that I was going to enjoy every minute. And I decided that I was going to do what my daughters, husband, and I wanted to do without hesitation. Boardwalk ✅ Build a sand ‘city’ ✅ Beach yoga ✅ Jump waves in the ocean ✅

By doing this, I ended up having the most fun ever and leaving on Saturday with zero regrets. We will go away again as a family but this time I don’t feel like I ‘need’ to.

One of the things my daughters asked me to do was to go for our traditional early morning walk on the beach looking for sea shells and rocks on Monday - they love it and get so excited to do it. Initially I felt my brain say ‘why not wait until later in the week.’ But I stopped myself, got my brain on board and said ‘yes, let’s go!’ We had such a fun time as always but something was different. I was whole-heartedly present which made the morning so much more enjoyable and fun.

And because we went on Monday morning, I didn’t have it taking up space in my mind remembering to go later in the week.

This was all possible because I learned to manage my mind. I learned to direct my brain to what I wanted out of the vacation. And the end result was relaxation from day 1, being present with my family and enjoying every minute, without any regrets.

If this resonates with you and you want to be more present with your family and get the most out of your family vacations, I can help. I work with women to teach them how to manage their minds so they can be intentional with their time, have more fun and less regret. To learn how I can help you, send me a PM.

Do you wish your mornings getting the kiddos ready for school were calmer? I used to as well.

Mine went from chaotic and frantic to calm and in control (with the ability to handle unplanned meltdowns over what to wear - you would think that wearing a uniform would avoid these but surprisingly they don’t).

The keys to my success? Creating calm in my mind and a successful morning routine that suits my family and me.

How I did it? By managing my brain.

I figured out that my morning routine would work well if I got up earlier than anyone else in the house.

But initially my brain retaliated and wanted to sleep later like everyone else. And that’s a totally normal thing for brains to do.

So I went to work to figure out why I wanted to set up this routine and what the result of it would be.

And then I got to work desiring that more than staying in bed.

You see it’s very normal to hit the snooze button and say I’ll try again tomorrow or next Monday.

But if I did that I would be in the same place as I always was.

If I wanted less chaos and more calm then I had to do something different.

And to do different things, you need to manage your mind.

This is how I help my clients and why I love and believe in coaching so much. There’s a reason why people say ‘change is hard.’ It literally is hard for our brains to do something different. Having support though the change to keep you on track and moving towards your goals helps you get there faster.

If you’re trying to do something new and different and want to learn how coaching support will help you, send me a message to set up a free consult. In this call we will talk about what results you want to create and I will let you know how I can help you create them.

When I was going through IVF and trying so hard to have a baby, one of the things I thought of was how much fun I would have with my children one day.

I envisioned walks in the park, fun shopping sprees and endless playtime.

But what I didn’t realize is that life and work still happen and chores still need to be done.

The endless time spent doting on my kids was a fantasy.

And what happened in reality was when I was doing chores I was feeling guilty for not spending time with my girls. And when I was spending time with my girls, I thought about everything else I ‘should’ be doing.

I was not being intentional with my time nor was I being present with what I was actually doing.

This created a lot of stress.

But once I learned how to be present with what I was actually doing, whether it be coloring with my girls or working, everything changed.

I now have much more fun.

My focus increased and I’m much more productive in the time I have.

This is exactly the work I do with my clients.

I teach them how to be intentional with their time so they can create what they want in their life.

We tend to think we need more time in the day. What I’m saying is we need to change the way we’re spending our time.

If this resonates and you’re ready to do this work, send me a message.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner.

How are you planning to spend your day?

You are worthy and your needs are important and deserve to be prioritized.

I talk to so many women who put themselves last.

After taking care of their family they don’t have the time, money or energy to take care of themselves.

But this is backwards.

Mom’s needs should be prioritized alongside the family’s needs.

When this happens everyone wins.

Because when Mom takes care of herself she is better equipped to take care of everyone else.

If you struggle with this and desire to make a change, I can help. I support my clients each week as they come to our calls with everything that’s going on in their life. I teach them how to have power over whats going on and create what they intentionally want in life.

If this resonates, the first step is to set up a consult call. We’ll talk about what’s going on in several areas of your life and what you would like to happen. I will create a custom plan to help you get there. And if you love this custom plan then we’ll talk about working together and what that would look like.

The first step is the consult call. Send me a PM to set this up.

is inevitable for us women.

But suffering through it is not.

If it’s considered “normal” to have these symptoms then I don’t want to be normal. And you don’t have to be either.

Symptoms:
Hot flashes
Night sweats
Mood swings
Brain fog
Thinning hair
Poor sleep
Unexplained weight gain
Low libido

If you’re ready to break free from being “normal.” I can help. I work with women to improve their health so they don’t have to deal with these symptoms. Send me a PM to learn more.
