The individual’s demands tell the real story.
A violinist and a desk worker can walk in with the exact same shoulder pain.
But how they got there—and how they live in their bodies—is completely different. If you only treat the symptom without understanding the context of their craft, you’re missing the functional driver.
After 30,000 sessions, I’ve learned that ignoring these specific demands is why most treatment fails.
In this video, I’m giving you a look into how I think. If you’re a practitioner who is tired of chasing symptoms and ready to solve complex cases, I’m opening up my clinical process. This isn’t just another certification; it’s 10 weeks of direct access to my brain and two decades of case studies.
The Performing Arts Medicine Certification
• Format: 10 Weeks | 50 Hours | In-Person
• Focus: Clinical reasoning, assessment, and discipline-specific demands.
• The Goal: Build the confidence to handle the cases others can’t solve.
We begin March 26 at NewPath Wellness in Burbank. I’m looking for a small cohort of serious practitioners ready to move beyond “technician” work.

Performing Artists are not generic clients. Their work shapes their injuries. If you miss the demands, you miss the cause.

A violinist.
A dancer.
A vocalist.

Same shoulder pain. Completely different causes.

Performing arts medicine requires understanding what the body is being asked to do - not just where it hurts.

This is what we train.
