Womenโ€™s hormones, aka perimenopause, can begin shifting as early as your mid-30s and you should not have to spend years wondering why you suddenly donโ€™t feel like yourself.

Changes in sleep. Mood swings. Increased anxiety. Brain fog. Low energy. Changes in body composition. Decreased libido. Cycle changes. Difficulty recovering from workouts. Night sweats. Hot flashes.

These symptoms deserve a conversation, not dismissal as โ€œjust getting older.โ€

At Mana Loa Health, Womenโ€™s Hormone Replacement Therapy starts at $199/month.

During your consultation, we look at the full picture: your symptoms, medical history, labs when appropriate, lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, daily habits, and your personal health and wellness goals.

Then, together, we discuss which treatment options may be appropriate for you.

Because hormone therapy is not about chasing a number on a lab report.

It is about individualized care, informed decision-making, understanding what is changing in your body, and helping women feel strong, healthy, confident, and supported through every stage of life.

You do not have to guess your way through perimenopause.

Book your consultation through the link in bio.

And if you want to better understand what may be happening with your hormones, metabolism, energy, body composition, sleep, and overall wellness in your 30s, 40s, and beyond, comment WOMEN and weโ€™ll send you our FREE Mana Loa Health Womenโ€™s Health & Wellness Blueprint.

Because aging with grace does not mean simply accepting that you no longer feel like yourself. It means understanding your body, supporting it intentionally, and knowing your options.

Sermorelin isnโ€™t a โ€œquick fixโ€ peptide and thatโ€™s exactly why the conversation around it matters.

Sermorelin is a peptide that works by signaling the pituitary gland to support the bodyโ€™s own natural growth hormone production. Rather than supplying growth hormone directly, it works upstream within the bodyโ€™s normal signaling pathway.

Why are patients asking about Sermorelin peptide therapy?

Research and clinical use have focused on its potential role in supporting:
โ€ข Growth hormone production
โ€ข IGF-1 levels
โ€ข Muscle recovery and repair
โ€ข Lean muscle development
โ€ข Body composition
โ€ข Exercise recovery
โ€ข Sleep quality
โ€ข Healthy aging and longevity

But hereโ€™s the part I want patients to understand: Sermorelin works best when the foundation is already there.

Adequate protein. Resistance training. Quality sleep. Proper nutrition. Hydration. Consistency.

If youโ€™re not strength training or giving your body the nutrients it needs to build and recover, no peptide can replace those fundamentals.

Peptide therapy should also be individualized. Your symptoms, goals, medical history, medications, labs, lifestyle, and baseline IGF-1 can all help determine whether Sermorelin is even an appropriate option for you.

At Mana Loa Health, I look at the entire picture, not just the peptide.

BPC-157 is one of the most talked-about peptide therapies right now, but itโ€™s not a magic fix.

Research has explored its potential role in supporting the bodyโ€™s natural repair pathways, including tendon and ligament support, muscle and connective tissue recovery, gastrointestinal integrity, and supporting the bodyโ€™s inflammatory response after injury.

But peptides should never be based on hype or what worked for someone else online.

Your symptoms, injury, health history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals all matter.

At Mana Loa Health, we believe peptide therapy should be individualized, intentional, and grounded in the bigger picture of healing and recovery.

Curious about BPC-157 and other therapies we use in practice?

TB-500 is one of the most commonly discussed peptides in the recovery and regenerative medicine space, but there is often a lot of confusion around what it is actually intended to support.

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide modeled after thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring protein involved in processes such as cell migration, tissue repair, angiogenesis, inflammation signaling, and recovery.

Because of those mechanisms, TB-500 is often discussed for its potential role in supporting soft tissue recovery, muscle recovery, tendon and ligament health, mobility, flexibility, and overall recovery after training or injury.

What is important to understand is that TB-500 is not a replacement for rehabilitation, strength training, adequate protein intake, hydration, sleep, or identifying the actual cause of an injury or chronic pain.

Peptides should always be viewed as a tool within a much larger health and recovery plan.

The other important piece of the conversation is research. TB-500 remains an investigational peptide, and human clinical data are still limited. That means the goal should never be to overpromise results, but rather to understand the proposed mechanisms, the available evidence, potential risks, and whether a peptide even makes sense for the individual.

This is exactly why I created the FREE Mana Loa Health Peptide Blueprint.

Inside, I break down some of the most commonly discussed peptides and wellness therapies, including TB-500, BPC-157, GHK-Cu, MOTS-c, NAD+, Sermorelin, Epitalon and more, so you can better understand what each one is being studied for and where it may fit into a broader health optimization plan.

If youโ€™ve been hearing about peptide therapy and have no idea where to start, comment PEPTIDE (exact phrase ๐Ÿ˜) and Iโ€™ll send you the free Mana Loa Health Peptide Blueprint. ๐Ÿงฌ

Education first. Foundation first. Peptides second.

You train hard. But are you recovering just as hard??

For those who strength train, stay physically active, or deal with repetitive stress and overuse, BPC-157 has become one of the most talked-about peptides in the recovery space.

BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide that has been studied primarily in preclinical research for its potential role in supporting:

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Tendon & ligament repair
๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Recovery from repetitive stress and overuse
๐Ÿ”ฅ Healthy inflammatory signaling
๐Ÿฉน Tissue-repair pathways
๐Ÿฉธ Blood vessel formation involved in healing
๐Ÿงฌ Gastrointestinal integrity

One important distinction: BPC-157 is not typically viewed as a solution for structural spine problems. If pain is coming from something like significant disc degeneration, spinal stenosis, instability, or another mechanical issue, a peptide does not โ€œfixโ€ the underlying anatomy. Those situations need proper evaluation to identify and address the actual structural cause.

Thatโ€™s also why BPC-157 isnโ€™t a shortcut and it isnโ€™t a replacement for the basics. Recovery still starts with adequate protein, hydration, sleep, mobility, smart programming, and giving your body enough time to repair between training sessions.

And importantly, BPC-157 remains investigational. Human clinical evidence is limited, and it is not FDA-approved to treat any medical condition.

Peptide therapy should be approached as one potential tool within a much bigger health and recovery strategy not the entire strategy.

NAD+ is not a peptide. Itโ€™s a coenzyme and itโ€™s essential to how your cells function.

NAD+ stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. Itโ€™s found in every cell of the body and helps drive several critical processes involved in cellular health.

NAD+ plays a role in:
โšก๏ธ Converting nutrients into cellular energy
๐Ÿ”‹ Supporting mitochondrial function
๐Ÿงฌ DNA repair and cellular maintenance
๐Ÿ”ฅ Metabolic signaling and glucose utilization
๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Cellular stress response and resilience
โณ Pathways associated with healthy aging

NAD+ also works closely with enzymes that are involved in cellular repair, gene regulation, and the way cells respond to stress.

Another reason NAD+ has become such a major topic in longevity medicine: NAD+ availability tends to decline with age, and researchers continue to study how supporting NAD+ metabolism may influence energy regulation, mitochondrial health, recovery, and age-related cellular function.

That does not mean NAD+ replaces sleep, nutrition, hydration, movement, or strength training.

It means weโ€™re looking at health from another level: supporting the cellular processes underneath the habits youโ€™re already building.

Want to learn more about NAD+, peptides, metabolic health, recovery, and longevity therapies?

GLP-1s are a tool, not a replacement for the habits that actually build long-term health.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is treating the medication like a race to the highest dose.

It isnโ€™t.

The goal should never be to suppress your appetite so aggressively that you can barely eat, barely hydrate, or struggle to meet your nutritional needs.

The goal is to use the medication alongside the foundation:

Strength training to help preserve and build lean muscle.
Adequate protein to support recovery, metabolism, and body composition.
Consistent hydration.
Balanced daily nutrition.
Regular movement.
Quality sleep.
And habits you can realistically maintain long after the excitement of starting a medication wears off.

Sometimes the best dose is the dose that allows you to make progress while still eating enough, training well, staying hydrated, and feeling strong.

More medication does not automatically mean better results.

And reaching the highest dose is not the goal.

The goal is to use the tool appropriately while building the daily behaviors that support your health for the long run.

That is where sustainable progress happens.

MOTS-c isnโ€™t a shortcut, and peptides were NEVER meant to be.

MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived peptide being studied for its potential role in metabolic health, exercise performance, glucose utilization, insulin sensitivity, cellular energy signaling, and healthy aging.

Where I think the conversation gets more interesting is in someone who is already doing the work:
Adequate proteinโ€จConsistent hydrationโ€จStrength trainingโ€จMindful movementโ€จQuality sleepโ€จStress managementโ€จMetabolic health optimization

In an already well-supported patient, MOTS-c may potentially help support:
Training longer before fatigue sets inโ€จHandling more consistent or demanding workoutsโ€จUsing glucose more efficiently for energyโ€จImproving metabolic flexibility between fuel sourcesโ€จSupporting a healthier insulin responseโ€จSupporting mitochondrial and cellular energy signalingโ€จAdapting and recovering more efficiently from training

That does not mean MOTS-c guarantees these outcomes, and research is still emerging.

This is why I always look at the foundation first and the peptide second.

If nutrition is inconsistent, sleep is poor, hydration is low, and movement is minimal, a peptide is not going to replace those basics.

But if the foundation is already strong, thatโ€™s when a peptide like MOTS-c may be worth discussing as part of a more individualized wellness or performance plan.

For appropriate patients, MOTS-c may also be timed around exercise depending on the treatment goal and overall regimen.

Curious whether MOTS-c fits your goals?โ€จSend me a DM or book a consultation through the link in my bio.

And if you want a simple breakdown of MOTS-c and other commonly discussed peptides:
Comment PEPTIDE below and Iโ€™ll send you our FREE Mana Loa Health Peptide Blueprint.

MOTS-c is getting a lot of attention in the peptide world, but like most peptides, it works best when the foundation is already in place.

In this reel, I break down:
โ€ข What MOTS-c is and what it does
โ€ข Who may be a candidate
โ€ข Why itโ€™s often discussed for metabolic health, exercise performance, and mitochondrial signaling
โ€ข How I typically have patients take it, about 20โ€“30 minutes before exercise, preferably on an empty stomach ๐Ÿ’‰

But hereโ€™s the part I donโ€™t want people to miss:
A peptide cannot outwork poor nutrition, inadequate protein, dehydration, lack of movement, or inconsistent sleep.

If weโ€™re using MOTS-c to support metabolic function and exercise performance, I want the body properly fueled, hydrated, moving consistently, and actually giving the peptide something to work with.

And as with many peptides, research around MOTS-c is still emerging. That means individualized treatment, appropriate screening, realistic expectations, and continued education matter.

Peptides should be used to support the foundation, not replace it.
