I don't know if you know but I make my own almond butter ☺️ because quality is a priority to me!
Homemade almond butter is a healthier tastier and cheaper way to consume almond butter. The best part of this recipe is that you will only need one ingredient, almonds!
INGREDIENTS:
RAW ALMONDS
Preheat an oven to 190c (375f), spread an even layer of the raw almonds on a baking sheet, and bake the almonds for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Then let the almonds cool to room temperature for about 5-10 minutes.
The roasting process releases the natural oil of the almonds and makes the process of blending way faster and easier.
Transfer the almonds to a blender or a food processor, secure the lid and start blending at high speed.
If you’re using a blender, Insert the tamper through the lid and push down the almonds until you get a smooth consistency.
If you’re using a food processor, secure the lid then let it process for 5 minutes.
Scrape down the sides and continue to process until you get the right consistency, be patient!
If you want creamier butter, the process is longer until you get the right texture.
When the butter is ready, let it cool for 5 minutes and transfer it into a jar.
Store it in the fridge for up to 2 months.☺️
