We are very excited to announce…🌹Join us at Gypsy Hands Healing Arts Center on Friday, June 5, for the First Friday Event Series, presenting:
Jessica Gosney Kirk: “What’s It All Mean: An Exploration of Meaning-Making Through Form”

Friday, June 5, 2026
5–9 p.m.

Through layered forms, intuitive mark-making, and expressive abstraction, Jessica Gosney Kirk creates paintings that explore balance, emotional integration, and the search for wholeness. Her work invites viewers into a contemplative space where joy, sorrow, tension, calm, and contradiction can coexist — and where abstraction becomes both a personal practice and a way of connecting to something larger.

Gosney Kirk earned her BFA in Graphic Design and MS in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is a teaching artist at Belle Morris Elementary. She works primarily in acrylic, ink, watercolor, gouache, and mixed media on canvas and paper.

Circle of the Sacred Feminine 🌹
Join us at Gypsy Hands Healing Arts Center on Sunday, May 17, for Circle of the Sacred Feminine, a guided gathering designed to help participants reconnect with their voices, energy, intuition—and inner sense of strength.
Facilitated by Wendy Smith and Susie Dew, the circle will include energy work, breathwork, reflection, and open conversation. The gathering is intended for women who want to build community, take time for self-care, and share sisterhood—listening to themselves and exploring connection with one another through reflection and conversation.
The gathering will move between introspective moments and group exchange: connecting with the breath, the physical body, and the energy body; engaging in practices such as an energy ball exercise; and using the voice for somatic release through sound. Participants will have the opportunity to speak and listen in the larger group and pairs or trios—creating connection. Time will be held at the close for informal conversation.
Wendy Smith is a Reiki master, yoga instructor, and energy worker who believes in the power of presence, healing, and the divine light.
Susie Dew is a wellness practitioner whose work includes functional nutrition, herbalism, breathwork, and shamanic energy healing. She is devoted to helping women reconnect with their bodies, intuition, and wisdom.
This is not a seminar or lecture, but a safe space to participate, to be heard, and to grow through shared experience and wisdom. Wendy and Susie provide guidance, helping maintain balance so that each participant has the opportunity to be witnessed, while also offering tools that can support daily life.
Wendy and Susie will guide participants through an experience of reflection, connection, and discovery, with room to contribute—and leave feeling more grounded.
Koha (Donation): $30 (Limited to 11 participants. Pre-registration is required.)

Join us at Gypsy Hands Healing Arts Center on Friday, May 1, for the First Friday Event Series, presenting:
Eliot Tatler “I was the shadow of the waxwing slain”
Friday, May 1, 2026
5–9 p.m.
Eliot Tatler is an artist, writer, and architecture student born and raised in Knoxville. The qualitative aspects of architecture—particularly phenomenology—inform her paintings.
In January 2025, Tatler began working in oil paint, a shift that has become central to her current practice. Her influences include Egon Schiele, Francis Bacon, and Tracey Emin; music and film also play a significant role in shaping her work.
Tatler’s paintings explore themes of guilt, liberation, and nostalgia through unconventional means. Infused with personal, literary, and biblical references, even her most intimate works invite an unexpected sense of relatability.

We are excited to share with you a special offering August 30 - 31 & September 6 here at our beautiful Sacred Space…our Marae: Gypsy Hands Healing Arts Center. ✨🌿

Long-time friend and colleague of Gypsy Hands, Susie Dew, will lead a Ceremony with Kambo, the sacred indigenous medicine. 🐸🌱

Kambo is the non-psychoactive secretion of a sacred tree frog found in the Amazon Basin. For thousands of years, Kambo has part of traditional practices among indigenous peoples—who value it for its role in cleansing, strengthening, and connection to Spirit. 🌳🌀💫 Often referred to as the “Vaccine of the Jungle,” Kambo is recognized for its anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-parasitic properties. 🛡️🌿

Kambo is considered a peptide supplement that has been associated in supporting relief from depression, anxiety, addiction, cancer, Lyme disease, and other autoimmune conditions. 💪🧘‍♂️🧠 Kambo helps the body remember how to heal itself—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. 🌈🕊️

The ceremony is designed to cleanse toxins from the body, release stagnant energy, and restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit. 💫🧘‍♀️🌀 Each ceremony is supported by grounding practices such as breathwork, meditation, and integration work—helping participants carry the medicine’s teachings into their daily lives. 🌬️🙏🌟

Space is limited and early reservation is encouraged. 🗓️📩
