A gentle way to start the year: dinacharya

Dinacharya is Ayurveda’s practice of daily rhythm—simple, repeatable habits that support digestion, sleep, hormones, and the nervous system by aligning the body with the natural flow of the day.

Instead of resolutions, consider adding a few physical practices as anchors:
• Waking and sleeping at roughly the same time each day
• Tongue scraping and warm water in the morning
• Warm, cooked meals eaten at regular times
• Daily oiling (full body or just the feet)
• Starting the day with movement, best if outside or near a window
• Slowing the evening with lower lights and fewer inputs

Dinacharya isn’t about doing everything.
It’s about returning to rhythm—especially in winter and motherhood.
