Anger often shows up where grief has been living quietly.
When you overreact to something small
When you snap because you’re tired of holding everything together
When you feel irritable from carrying the mental load alone
When you are sick and tired of being called "resilient"
It’s not a character flaw.
It’s a sign of how much you’ve held, how long you’ve endured, and how deeply you’ve needed support.
Anger is often grief in disguise. Grief for the version of you who didn’t get to rest, be supported, or feel safe enough to express what hurt.
If this speaks to you, you’re not alone.
I’m here if this resonates.
