Last week, we wrapped up summer with a sweet treat! 🍦☀️

Staff and clients at Lenape Valley Foundation enjoyed a visit from the ice cream truck to celebrate the end of another summer season.

It was a great opportunity to take a break, connect with one another, and enjoy some fun before heading into a busy fall!

Bucks County CIT Task Force representatives Corporal Dominic Dovidio of the Northampton Township Police Department and Nicole Wolf of Lenape Valley Foundation recently presented at the CIT International Conference in Orlando.

Their workshop, Supercharging CIT Training with Body-Worn Camera Footage, showcased how Bucks CIT incorporates real-world footage into its 40-hour and Advanced CIT trainings to strengthen de-escalation skills, critical decision-making and crisis response.

We are proud to see Bucks County’s innovative training strategies shared on an international stage, strengthening partnerships between law enforcement and behavioral health professionals and improving outcomes for individuals experiencing a crisis.
