Throughout Women's History Month, we have highlighted the many women who have impacted our company in numerous ways. For our final post this month, we'd like to call out Trish McFarland, a business advocate for Gordon Policy Group LLC.
Trish McFarland is the president of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, a membership-based business advocacy organization. McFarland took the helm in 2015, becoming the first woman to lead the organization in its 132 years. Under her leadership, the Chamber has become a vital voice of business in South Eastern Pennsylvania.
In addition, McFarland has expanded and introduced new programs and initiatives designed to attract, retain and celebrate small business owners, women, veterans and young professionals in Delaware County. By developing educational programming and networking opportunities for these subsets of the membership, McFarland has added value to each member investment in the organization.
