Confused About Texas H**p Laws? Let's Clear It Up.
Hi HOJ Family,
If you've been confused by the latest Texas h**p news, you're not alone. We've been getting the same two questions every day:
❓ "Do I need to stock up?"
❓ "If I have THCa flower at home, is that a felony?"
Here's the quick update:
🚫 What changed?
As of July 31, 2026, Texas classified Delta-8, Delta-10, HHC, THCP, and other h**p-derived THC isomers as Schedule I controlled substances.
🌿 What about THCa?
This is a separate issue and where most of the confusion comes from.
THCa was NOT part of the July 31 scheduling action. The current issue with THCa involves the sale of THCa products by Texas retailers, not the same Schedule I update affecting Delta-8 and other isomers.
💚 What does this mean for HOJ?
Honestly... not much.
We only carried a couple of products containing those h**p-derived isomers, and we've already removed them from our shelves.
The vast majority of our products are compliant h**p-derived Delta-9 products, so this update has had very little impact on what we offer.
As always, we'll continue following the regulations closely and keeping you informed as things evolve.
If you ever have questions, stop by the shop, give us a call, or send us a message. We'd rather answer your questions than let internet rumors do it for us.
See you soon,
