Over a month ago already a dear herbal sister, Nancy Phillips of Heartsong Farm in NH, flew down to TX Hill Country to share her many decades of herbal wisdom w/ us. I first met Nancy through Rosemary over a decade ago when I flew up to the New England's Women Herbal Conference. Then I flew up to Nancy's beautiful & sacred 56 acres to attend a retreat where she hosted Rosemary Gladstar. Then she hosted another mentor, healer & plant sister of mine, Dr. Rocio Alarcon. I fell in love with Heartsong Farm, Nancy, Gracie(her daughter) & Michael. Then as Spirit would have it in 2019, Nancy, Gracie & I were on the same trip to Dr. Rocio's center IAMOE in the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador. After experiencing that journey together we were forever bonded! Fast Forward to 2026, Nancy flew down & be our next herbalist teacher for our Sacred Moon Women's Herbal Gathering & speaker at HerbDay at ABC. In between events, we relaxed & enjoy the sights. Here's a few highlights💖Nancy FINALLY gets to visit Moon & do a book signing. Such an honor for me! We visited Arnosky's Flower Farm. We met Ryan at our favorite restaurant, Thyme & Dough. I had a rare moment that Fabienne & I saw each other & had big hugs. (We met long ago before Moon opened in 2012 & have kept our businesses alive through covid times, many losses & tons of work. We've shared many "Old Skool Drip" days together & are happy to still be part of the community.) After a yummy lunch, she enjoyed a healing acupuncture treatment w/ Dr. Ryan. Always after the 3 day Gathering, the teacher & I go relax & unwind with the best 90 min massages at my friend Becky's magickal Blooming Day Spa. Perfect way to restore ourselves after working so hard. We end the day with curry down the road at North Street with a few other herbalist friends. It's a packed week in between, but always well worth it. There's more to come & I'm so grateful for every blessed minute we shared together. Nancy is one of the most gracious, generous, brilliant, kindest, herbalist Wise Women I know & I love her so. Beyond grateful so many of us were able to share time with her & learn more herbal healing ways. .nh
