🌎 Expanding Access to 360 Vascular Care

I’m excited to share that I am now licensed to provide telehealth consultations in 14 states, expanding access to the specialized vascular care we provide at 360 Vascular Institute.

Telehealth allows me to personally review a patient’s history and imaging, provide a second opinion, discuss treatment options, and determine whether traveling to Ohio makes sense. It also gives us the opportunity to educate patients about their vascular condition—something we take great pride in. We believe better understanding leads to better decisions and better outcomes.

Importantly, telehealth does not replace an in-person physician evaluation. Every patient who travels to 360 Vascular for treatment is evaluated by me in our office before any procedure.

Telehealth improves access—it is not a shortcut to treatment.

Our goal is simple: high-quality, cost-effective, physician-led vascular care, regardless of geography.

One of the things I have always enjoyed most about medicine is teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians.

The 360 Vascular Institute Clinical Scholars Program was created to give exceptional pre-medical students something beyond traditional shadowing or scribing: meaningful patient care experience, direct physician mentorship, procedural exposure, research opportunities, and an understanding of how medicine actually works outside the classroom.

Our inaugural Clinical Scholar, Helen, has been exceptional, and watching how much she has grown and learned has reinforced my belief in this program.

We are now accepting applications for our next Clinical Scholar.

Beyond shadowing. Beyond scribing.

Exploring London one step at a time! 👣🇬🇧

Walking is one of the simplest things you can do for vascular health. It can improve walking ability in PAD and helps activate the calf muscle pump in venous disease. (Even better with compression stockings 😉)

You don’t need 20,000 steps a day. Every step counts. Just keep moving.

“Teamwork makes the dream work” is something we say often at 360 Vascular Institute.

Visiting the Harry Potter studios in London this week was an incredible look at what happened behind the scenes. We all see the finished films, but it took hundreds of artists, designers, builders, technicians, actors, and others working together to create that magic.

It reminded me a lot of healthcare.

Patients often see the physician, but great care takes an entire team working toward the same goal.

One of the things I value most about building 360 Vascular Institute is having the opportunity to build that team, shape our culture, and create the kind of patient experience I believe healthcare should provide.

I'm incredibly grateful for the team we've built and what each person contributes every day.

That may be where the real magic happens. ⚡️

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London

Enjoying some much-needed family time in London this week! 🇬🇧

We started our trip with seeing the musical Matilda and have been enjoying the chance to slow down, explore, and spend time together.

Even while away, I still check in with my team daily and stay connected with what is happening with my patients. Building 360 Vascular Institute into a destination for vascular care has been a labor of love...and one of the most challenging things I have ever done.

Stepping away gives me something that's hard to find during a busy week: time to think about what we're doing well, what we can do better, and how we can continue to improve the experience for our patients.

Sometimes stepping away gives you the perspective to come back better. 🇬🇧

Innovation doesn't happen in isolation. One of the things I'm most passionate about is collaborating with industry to help improve the technology we use every day to care for patients. Advances in imaging are helping make it possible to safely move increasingly complex vascular procedures from the hospital to the outpatient setting, improving convenience for patients while often reducing the overall cost of care.

When I founded 360 Vascular Institute, the vision was to build a nationally accredited, state of the art office-based vascular practice that offers the same advanced imaging and technology found in leading hospitals while delivering care in a more personalized and significantly more cost effective setting.

It was a privilege to welcome the Siemens Healthineers team to 360 Vascular Institute this week. As a Siemens Healthineers National Showcase Site, our practice was selected to be featured in a national video project highlighting how advanced imaging supports complex vascular care in the office based setting.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was hearing directly from one of our patients, who shared how minimally invasive outpatient treatment changed their life. Technology is important, but its greatest value is the difference it makes for the patients we serve.

Thank you to the Siemens Healthineers team for the opportunity to share the vision behind 360 Vascular Institute.

As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, I'm grateful for the opportunity to care for patients in our community and to practice medicine in a country that values innovation, compassion, and service.

As both a physician and a father, I know how easy it is for dads to put everyone else's needs ahead of their own.

Some of my favorite moments are the simple ones: taking walks, traveling with family, and spending time with my children. Those moments remind me why taking care of our health matters.

This Father's Day, I encourage all fathers to pay attention to their own health and not ignore symptoms such as leg pain, swelling, or cramping. Healthy circulation means more walks, more memories, and more tomorrows.

Wishing all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures a very Happy Father's Day.

Each pin on this map represents a patient and family who have entrusted our team with their care.

When I founded 360 Vascular Institute nearly three years ago, I believed there was still a place for personalized medicine. Patients deserved time, education, and a direct relationship with their physician, and I believed a physician-owned practice built around those principles could still succeed.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of caring for patients from throughout Ohio, across the United States, and internationally. Many come from right here in Central Ohio.

To me, the geography isn't the story.

The story is that patients are reminding us of the values that have always been at the heart of medicine. They want to be heard. They want care that feels personal. They want to feel like people, not appointments on a schedule.

Whether patients come from around the corner or around the world, our commitment remains the same.

Thank you to every patient who has entrusted our team with their care. We never take that trust for granted.
