90 minutes. 26 postures. 2 breathing exercises. A room heated to around 105°F.
At first glance, Bikram-style hot yoga can seem a little intense. (Okay… a lot intense. 😅)
But underneath the sweat is a beautifully structured practice designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and mental resilience.
Each posture is done in a specific order to systematically work every part of the body—compressing and stretching muscles, stimulating circulation, moving the spine in all directions, and challenging your focus. The heat helps warm the muscles, increases mobility, and, perhaps most importantly, teaches you how to stay calm when things get uncomfortable. The feeling you’ll get after completing the practice (even by just staying in the room and lying down) is unbeatable. So join me Thursdays 9am (plus it’s the 60 minute version)!!! You’ll feel sooooo good.
