Herbalism and more specifically wildcrafting and gardening to make my own powerful herbal remedies from bioregional plants is how I fell in love with alternative medicine and wellness.

Herbalism was my gateway to bodywork and now studying acupuncture. I’m always dreaming of the garden and the feeling of pine resin on my bare feet.

How does herbalism come into my bodywork sessions? Handmade herb oils & topical liniments!

I took advantage of the recent sunshine to start a new batch of mugwort/moxa oil and to be integrated into my bodywork practice for warming the tissues, aiding circulation, and promoting healthy flow of Qi.

Also have a recently bottled calendula oil from Fall 2025 harvest for spring massage sessions to support lymphatic wellness. Lymphatic flow supports the body’s ability to reduce swelling and inflammation, keep a strong immune system, manage histamine and allergies and so much more!

TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE ENHANCED MASSAGE
This session starts with clothed shiatsu stretching and acupressure along the meridian lines in your body to relax muscles, support joints, and improve the healthy flow of qi in your body. Once on the massage table, this add-on package gives you the best of Traditional Chinese Medicine rooted wellness offerings at GlitterMoss including: cupping, hara (abdominal) massage, gua sha, ear seeds, handmade moxibustion oil, and a TCM topical pain liniment.

HERBAL WELLNESS ENHANCED MASSAGE
This package includes a 30 minute herbal consultation before your 60/90 minute massage session. This allows you to explore herbal remedies for your wellness with an experienced clinical herbalist. You will be offered an herbal foot soak and herbal tea during your consultation. A custom flower essence blend that works with the energetic imprint of plants to support emotional balance to be added to your massage. You also get one of our handmade herbal oils from our farm integrated into your massage.

RUNNER’S RECOVERY MASSAGE PACKAGE
Start your session with a white pine, epsom salt, and magnesium foot soak for tired feet. Begin your massage session with clothed facilitated stretching from the shiatsu tradition to loosen tight overworked muscles. The remainder of the time will be targeted table massage addressing your specific tension patterns and can include trigger points, targeted plantar fasciitis massage, and more. All sessions include cupping and a topical pain remedy to address muscle tension and/or joint pain.
