So many of my clients come in with a line of tension that starts in their hands, travels up their arms, into their upper trapezius and often can involve the pecs, jaw, base of skull and more.

This common pattern can come from forward head posture common with desk jobs, cervical instability, overuse of hands/arms, TMJ flare ups, and more.

Massage is such a useful tool to ease this tension and restore movement and ease in involved muscles.

I am always trying to work in shiatsu meridian stretches into table massage and throw in acupressure points that align with session goals.

*I always check with clients if they are comfortable with these stretches as not all nervous systems enjoy facilitated stretching and assess for joint range of motion ahead of time, of course.

I’ve had such a busy and life giving summer supporting my community with herbal remedies, massage, & shiatsu sessions!

When I started GlitterMoss, I dreamed of creating a place for 2SLGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent people, and trauma survivors to find a safe home to receive bodywork and reconnect to their bodies. It was a fragile dream and a big risk, and ya’all have come through and made sure I can keep showing up day after day.

It’s been so wild to watch community come through the doors of GlitterMoss and choose to continue to support this little dream.
