While it would be nice to see all the things;most families do not desire for their appointments to be shared. And rightly so, this is a personal and vulnerable time. Parents share personal medical information about themselves and baby. They are often not fully clothed during the visit.

On the other side there is HIPAA and its real. This holds me accountable to the families I serve.

On the other side even with consent to share I don't always do because I am busy doing the work. I don't think about gathering information or have the time to stop and record. For that appointment I am fully invested and I'm locked in.

When I say I'm here to help you breastfeed and pump better, I MEAN IT. The breastfeeding streets are filled with fads and things preying on us but never giving lasting help. .scrubs isn't one of those. GIRL grab three of these. And if you are me, one for each work day. Cause nobody has time for laundry multiple times per week 😆 🤣

Although I'm no longer pumping or breastfeeding these would have been everything to me.

Oh, I also want to point out that the wonderful Ms Turner is a wonderful occupational therapist doing God's work out there.

Motherhood is so much. It can not defined in one word. But motherhood is an action word. It's called of me to be so many things. Some of them I do well and others I don't. But most of all while is demands action I have learnt that I am not responsible to be all things to my children. This simple but big realization provides me the freedom to show up best for my children and myself. Cheers to motherhood. I love it here, most days 😆

I heard the statement that to fed is to be loved. This is is such a powerful statement. We first feed because we love and continue to feed to show love. While I love studies and data it doesn't do a good enough job of highlighting the core reason why we nourish ourselves.

If you’re struggling to feed your baby it's so easy to understand why it's so disheartening when it's just not happening for you. Please know you aren't alone and this was never meant to be done alone. I want to help you feed your baby better.
