Dream Team Prosthetics clinical team continues to focus on developing innovative and effective treatment methods for individuals with challenging limb conditions and multiple limb loss!

In 2020, our clinical team and a group of our patients were invited to collaborate with Ottobock R&D engineers on the development of the Genium X4 advanced microprocessor knee!

Dream Team Prosthetics was the first clinic in the world to fit bilateral above knee amputees during the development of the Genium X4 technology!

Since its release in the United States in 2024, we regularly treat patients with this unique knee technology; individuals that choose Dream Team Prosthetics as their prosthetic provider!

We were the first clinic to fit our bilateral above knee patient, Chris Woodis from Minnesota, with a pair of the latest version of the Genium X4 knees!

Technology is always advancing; as updates and improvements are introduced, Dream Team Prosthetics remains at the forefront, providing the best care to our patients!

The 2026 Bilateral Life Camp is in the history books! We had a great week with highly motivated individuals that traveled thousands of miles to be a part of this unique experience!

A chance to overcome challenges, walk again and become more independent came to several attendees during an annual Bilateral Life Camp in Duncan.

The 2026 Bilateral Life Camp was totally epic; making new friendships and witnessing incredible determination focused on improved mobility with bilateral above-knee limb loss!

The entire group inspired each other to push themselves out of the comfort zone into doing things previously thought was impossible!

The strength and encouragement of peer support is exactly what Bilateral Life Camp is all about; providing an opportunity to come together to learn what is possible with a unique approach to mobility independence!

We wish everyone safe travels as everybody returns home to further advance their function and mobility everyday!

Day One of the 2026 Bilateral Life Camp was absolutely the best ever! The participants have already made amazing progress!

Television station KSWO Channel 7 spent the morning with us and aired a fantastic story tonight; showing many of the days activities!

We started by writing down mobility goals and addressing questions posed by the participants!

For many, Bilateral Life Camp is a turning point for those struggling to maximize their abilities after bilateral above knee limb loss!

A full day of activities continues tomorrow, challenging daily life situations and being out of the comfort zone and focusing on problem solving!

This is our best group ever; coming in from all across the United States and world wide!

Our favorite week is here; Bilateral Life Camp 2026!

We had a few international participants arrive early to start their journey to a new level of freedom and mobility independence!

Vidalito from Mexico is focused on becoming more proficient controlling the microprocessor knees walking down ramps and hills!

Vidalito came to his first Bilateral Life Camp a year ago and he has applied what he learned to further improve his confidence!

He has already made amazing progress and continues to focus on improving his skills with his bilateral above knee prosthetics with Genium X3 microprocessor knees!

We are very excited to welcome our largest group to date with the most FIRST TIME participants!

Providing world-class prosthetic care to our patients is what we do at Dream Team Prosthetics every day!

The start of the 2026 Bilateral Life Camp is quickly approaching! We are welcoming our largest group that includes the most First Time attendees we have ever had! It’s great that this event grows every year!

It was in 2006 that our team organized the first bilateral above knee session at the Amputee Coalition conference in Minnesota. Just six attendees with bilateral above knee limb loss attended that first gathering. It was only a three hour session.

The focus continues to be on peer empowerment and interactive sessions to address the unique mobility needs of individuals with bilateral above knee limb loss!

Registrants for this years event are coming from 18 different states and 9 different countries!

We look forward to hosting an incredible Bilateral Life Camp for those highly motivated individuals that prioritize mobility independence and function for the best results! This years camp is completely full!

Prosthetics is an ART / SCIENCE!! It takes a creative prosthetist with clinical skills and experience to design a prosthetic socket that the patient can incorporate into their daily lives!

This photo shows a fitting for a custom designed direct skin fit socket; no liners! The individuals that use a direct skin fit socket have enhanced proprioception from the feedback they get to their residual limb!

Unfortunately, very few prosthetists have the skill and experience to successfully fit this type of socket! At Dream Team Prosthetics, Clinical Director Chad Simpson uses his vast knowledge to develop the most appropriate socket for each patient for the best outcome!

Dream Team Prosthetics continues to be the world leader; innovating custom socket designs that are unique to each patient for the highest level of mobility independence!

With the 2026 Bilateral Life Camp just a few weeks away, we are looking forward to welcoming our largest group of “first time” attendees coming in from all around the world!

Bilateral Life Camp was founded on the principles of specialized education, empowering mobility independence and providing a pathway to reaching mobility goals with innovative, custom designed prosthetic solutions!

This video is a great demonstration of unique skills individuals with bilateral above knee limb loss must develop to successfully navigate daily life situations independently!

Peer support is a crucial element to learning! This includes understanding appropriate technology and how to effectively manage socket fit for extended daily prosthetic use!

This years group is dedicated to learning how to be a more efficient prosthetics user; learning about optimized alignment, techniques, mindset and commitment!

It’s always a busy time at Dream Team Prosthetics with patients traveling in from all across the United States and internationally for the innovative and effective care we provide!

We greatly appreciate our patients loyalty; entrusting their care to our clinical team for a lifetime!

As technology improves, we are always involved in evaluating components to determine the best usage for our patients and how it can benefit their mobility independence!

We recently had the opportunity to treat our long time friend, Mark Ormrod, British Royal Marine Commando! Our team first provided care to him in 2009 and it’s great to see his commitment and dedication throughout the years! Congratulations!

Mark is a great example for others with multiple limb loss to see what is possible with the right approach for training and custom socket design that allows him to be a full time prosthetics user! The last time Mark used a wheelchair was June 9, 2009!

We are looking forward to a many busy weeks ahead providing exceptional care to our patients; above knee, below knee and multiple limb loss!

The 2026 Bilateral Life Camp is just a few weeks away! This is a life changing event for those highly motivated individuals with bilateral above knee limb loss that make the commitment to attend!

Our clinical team organized the very first bilateral above knee focused meeting twenty years ago with just seven participants! Since then we have seen peer engagement grow and thrive!

Bilateral Life Camp is challenging; it is rough; it is exhausting; but one thing is certain, each participant has a new outlook and greater knowledge about what is possible and how to obtain the results!

Some people say they are coming and then never attend. Fear can have a greater impact than finding the courage to participate!

Bilateral Life Camp is all about being out of your comfort zone in order to face fear and anxiety to regain mobility independence! Each person has a choice to make.
