Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is the day that ended slavery in the United States. Juneteenth is a reminder of our nation's history and remembers those who fought for emancipation and justice. Today, we celebrate the diversity of our nation and the freedoms that belong to each and every person. Happy Juneteenth!

The Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation team celebrated the success of Shirley Weibley as she gained strength to go home through rehab. Shirley said "The therapy sessions were good for me and gave me the ability to get stronger to go home!

Shirley added, "The Stonebridge therapists were kind and took the time to explain how to do the strenghthening exercises they had me working on."

She also said "The staff of Stonebridge took great care of me!"

Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation Center celebrated the Port of Call for June today! During this activity, residents learned about Portofino, Italy. Pizza was also served, as well!

Stonebridge wants to thank Tara Schlyfestne from Grane Hospice for being a part of this great activity today, and for providing the pizzas for our residents!

Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation Center of Duncannon honored our CNAS yesterday during CNA Week with a great meal. Stonebridge appreciates the hard work and good care our CNAs provide to our residents! Thank you to Stonebridge’s Administrator Eric Cline for grilling the chicken and baked potatoes, along with a refreshing tossed salad!

Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation Center celebrated June birthdays today! Kenneth Rickert, Doris Atkinson and Gail Hoak are our June birthdays! Since it was a beautiful day, the birthday party was held outside on the patio. Residents enjoyed special music, cake and a great time of socialization. Thank you to Leann Barcavage of Amedisys Hospice for the June birthday cake!
