Brooks-TLC Hospital is transitioning to Epic as part of the larger Kaleida Health migration to improve safety, coordination, and access to patient health information. Epic securely compiles a patient’s medical history, prescriptions, and lab results across different healthcare providers. This new electronic health record (EHR) platform will help every member of a patient’s care team stay connected and informed, supporting safer and more coordinated care.

As we continue through this transition, patients may notice occasional delays while our teams adapt to the new platform. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these important improvements to better support your care.

We are excited to officially be transitioning to MyChart, helping patients stay connected to their healthcare through one secure and convenient platform. As part of the larger Epic migration across all Kaleida Health affiliated healthcare organizations, MyChart will give patients access to providers, clinics, and testing sites within the Kaleida system, with appointments, bill pay, reports, and results – all available under one electronic health record (EHR).

Patients can also view test results, medications, upcoming appointments, and communicate directly with their care team all in one place.

We encourage all patients to download the MyChart app as soon as possible through the App Store or Google Play to prepare for your next visit or appointment!

After struggling with worsening sciatica pain that was severely disrupting his daily life, Steve tried multiple treatments with little relief. After researching endoscopic spine surgery, he and his wife found Dr. Kukreja and decided to schedule a consultation.

Steve shared that Dr. Kukreja was kind, professional, and thorough throughout the entire process. Following surgery to treat two herniated discs pressing on his nerve, Steve experienced immediate relief and was able to return home the very same day.

Today, his quality of life has greatly improved, and he highly recommends Dr. Kukreja and the LEMS team for their compassionate care and support throughout his experience. We are so grateful to Steve for sharing his story and allowing us to highlight the incredible care Dr. Kukreja provides to patients in our community every day.
