Got back from an inspiring trip to the Biologic Association Summit in Phoenix, Arizona! The connections I’ve built over the years were reinforced, giving me renewed strength and motivation.

The content was phenomenal, featuring a fantastic mix of surgical and non-surgical colleagues collaborating and sharing insights. It’s always a pleasure to be part of such a vibrant community, and yesterday was yet another reminder of why I love being involved.

Looking forward to applying what I’ve learned and continuing these invaluable connections!

Returned from an incredible visit to Sydney, Australia! 🇦🇺 Had the privilege of touring the Sydney Swans training facility and learning about Australian rules football—a unique blend of American football and soccer.

Met the club’s COO who shared their core values: curiosity, humility, and service before self. It was inspiring to see how these principles guide their team management and community engagement.

Grateful for the opportunity to experience these cultural similarities and differences firsthand.

What a memorable trip!

Just wrapped up an incredible couple of days at The AMSSM National Conference in Seattle. The range of topics discussed was impressive, from PRP, Soccer to Ultrasound and sports injuries. One of the highlights was connecting with international experts and leaders in sports medicine. It was a fantastic opportunity to mingle, learn, and socialize with peers from across the country and around the globe. Already looking forward to next year!

Excited for the upcoming AMSSM national conference this week! Looking forward to another insightful session with Trice Medical on Tenex. This innovative procedure has truly transformed the approach to treating tendinopathy. After exploring various conservative options, I find this technology to be a valuable addition to my toolkit. It’s encouraging to have diverse solutions for managing tendinopathy, especially considering the economic challenges that can arise. Let’s continue to elevate patient care together!

The US Men’s Soccer National Team took to the field for a couple of friendlies this past week. While the results weren't what we hoped for, there were numerous positives to take away from the experience.

These matches serve as a reminder of the ups and downs we all encounter in life—not just in sports, but in every journey we undertake. As many say, it's not about the losses; it’s about rising again and pushing forward.

Let’s keep moving ahead! 💪⚽️

The best conversations in sports medicine don’t always happen in the clinic.

At Women’s Wellness Night with LOVB Atlanta and prior to that, we had the opportunity to discuss what athletes need to stay healthy. Listening to their bodies, speaking up early, and redefining what “pushing through” should look like.

Grateful for the entire medical team that supports these athletes day in and day out.

Proud to represent Emory Healthcare and be part of a space that puts athlete well-being first.

I sat down with LOVB Atlanta athletes to talk about recovery beyond rest. How mindset, treatment, and the right support system impact performance and longevity.
From a physician’s perspective: recovery is just as important as training.

Just wrapped up a few days of FIFA training with colleagues from across the globe. There’s something special about the energy that builds when you're preparing for an event of this scale.
It’s a privilege to be part of the team ensuring these athletes stay at peak performance when the world converges on the US, Canada, and Mexico. The countdown to 2026 is officially on!
