This past week has been one for the books! ❤️🙌🏽

Jordan graduated from hospice! After 8 months! He do however still have home health! And we LOVE his nurse!🎓❤️ His Duke appointment went GREAT, and that heart is STILL pumping at 55%! Won’t he do it!! 🙏🏽💪🏽

From hospice to SENIOR YEAR LOADING… 🎓📚🔥

At this time, he is not on the transplant list, cause the heart is doing what it should be doing, but they are still monitoring closely!

We’re celebrating every victory, every milestone, and every moment. God is Good! 🙏🏽❤️

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about Jordan and how he was doing…

Today we’re celebrating more than numbers.

Jordan’s heart function has improved from 42% to 55%, and despite being on hospice his heart improve from deathly to hopefully! He is finally off his Lifevest after 12 months. He kept fighting despite Dr said he had 2-3 months in November now we are entering month 7! This shows you GOD has the final say!

Nothing has stopped Jordan.

✨ Not countless appointments.
✨ Not hospital stays.
✨ Not being on hospice.
✨ Not the uncertainty of another transplant journey.

Instead, he keeps pushing forward.

Jordan successfully completed the 11th grade and is officially entering his senior year at South Central High School! 🎓🦅

Today, he completed Day 2 of the VISIONS Summer Institute! 🚀

Jordan is exploring academic programs, participating in hands-on activities, and discovered the many pathways and resources available at PCC. 💙🐾

Watching him prepare for college, explore career opportunities, and plan for his future while navigating life on hospice is a powerful reminder that hope is stronger than obstacles.

This journey has taught us that hospice is not about giving up—it’s about living fully, making memories, and supporting quality of life while continuing to fight for tomorrow. Now this is news worthy!

Please continue to pray and share his journey! And always remember to BePositive❤️

Last weekend, Jordan put on a suit and stepped into a moment every teenager dreams about—prom. ❤️✨

But behind the pictures, the smiles, and the memories being made… there’s a reality most will never see.

My baby is still waiting.
Waiting to get on the heart transplant list.
Waiting while still on hospice.
Waiting while time feels like it’s moving too fast and too slow all at once.

And yet… he still chose to LIVE an amazing evening.

He chose to show up.
He chose to smile.
He chose to be a teenager, even with the weight of the world sitting on his chest—literally and figuratively.

I watched him, and my heart broke and swelled at the same time. Because how can you be so proud and so scared in the same breath?

This isn’t just prom.
This is strength.
This is courage.
This is a reminder that even in the middle of uncertainty, life doesn’t stop—and neither does he.

So last weekend, we celebrate Jordan.
Not just for going to prom… but for fighting every single day to still be here to experience it.

Thank you so much for all that came out to help celebrate such a special moment!

To our team who help get him ready!
For all the love shown thus far!

Keep him in your prayers. Keep believing with us. 💙

Because he deserves many more moments like this… and we’re not done fighting yet.

Reunited and It feels so good! Thursday was such a good appointment! If you been a day 1 fan, you probably remember me sharing Amire story! Amire and Jordan both had the LVAD and received a heart transplant the same year! Amire was 8 at the time and Jordan was 12! Their bond is a special bond! 5 years post transplant they were able to catch up and enjoy their teenage moments!

Thursday appt wasn’t nobody but God! Sorry for the late post but I’ve been extremely busy. Overall, this was Jordan 2nd appt for the year and when I say my baby has a whole testimony to tell! How did my baby went from gravely ill, to needing a transplant in Nov to now his heart is at a better place than it was in Nov? Yes, he is still showing signs of progressive heart failure, his heart muscle was so thick to now it open up slightly with some minor adjustments to his medications. Still working on his weight but he is steady gaining weight with no signs up throwing up like before, so when he do get to the adults transplant side we will be in a better place! Right now they are postponing transitions at this time! When I say it’s nothing to hard that God can’t handle I mean nothing. His nurse resigned from her home care position, so we are desperately needing a home care nurse. But Josh is already working his magic! But Now let’s see about this cyst in his mouth tomorrow at the oral surgeon, taking preventative measurements, so it won’t cause an infection to heart! Next cardiologist in a few weeks! Next apt to dermatologist! It’s still a great way and reason to ❤️! Have a great week!

Happy 18th Birthday to my Jordan 🖤🎉
18 years ago, God entrusted me with you, and watching you grow into the young man you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Your journey began with strength from the very start—open heart surgery at just 5 days old. From being held back in 1st grade to facing challenges that would’ve broken most people, you kept pushing forward. You never gave up. You grew stronger, wiser, and more determined with every obstacle placed in your path.

Now here you are at 18, standing in faith and courage, preparing for your second heart transplant. Your resilience, your fight, and your spirit amaze me every single day. Every challenge, every victory, every tear, every prayer—worth it.

Today we celebrate YOU—your journey, your strength, your heart, and the future God has planned for you.
I am beyond proud to be your mom. Forever my baby, now officially grown.
I love you more than words 💙🎂🎈

Whew, I can say a lot about this guy! But if I do I will get teary eyed! 🥹 He’s been with us from the beginning of every transition, from LVAD, to transplant, to every weekly lab, to post transplant, and even now as we prep for a second heart transplant. When I say we have the very best care underneath Josh and Intellichoice it really is just that! 🤏🏾 * He make sure Jordan is well taken care of, just know if you see Jordan you see Josh, lol. If he rocking we are rollin. ❤️We are so thankful for him! 💐 Oan Jordan had his first transplant visit of the year on the 6th and so far the heart is improving better than in November! We are still in advance heart failure and currently on a good track at gaining weight. Home care nurse started Wednesday, big thanks to Josh! Jordan got his braces removed this past Thursday and now you really can’t tell him nothing! Next cardiac visit in a few weeks. Being positive, staying out the way and remaining humble! 2026 is off to a great start!

18 more days until the big 18th birthday 🎁

PS if you need any home care nursing Intellichoice in Winterville 10/10 recommend!

There’s a common misconception that hospice is only about the final days of life. The truth is, hospice is about living fully, with comfort, dignity, and support—for as long as life continues.

Hospice care is not “giving up.”
It’s choosing quality of life, expert symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, and a team that shows up consistently. Hospice nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, and physicians bring steady strength through uncertainty, setbacks, and unexpected turns.

And yes—sometimes that journey includes re-transplantation. Hospice stamina shows up in:
• Walking alongside patients through hope and uncertainty
• Supporting families through difficult conversations
• Providing comfort that allows patients to stay focused on healing possibilities
• Remaining present even when the outcome is unknown

There’s a belief that hospice means the end. For Jordan, hospice has meant support while still fighting. It has meant comfort on the hardest days, symptom relief when his body is exhausted, and a team helping him preserve strength while preparing for the possibility of a second heart transplant.

A re–heart transplant isn’t just medical—it’s emotional, physical, and relentless. It comes with waiting, uncertainty, fear, and hope all at once. Hospice has walked beside Jordan and his family through every stage—managing pain, breathlessness, anxiety, and the emotional weight no teenager should have to carry.

Hospice didn’t remove hope.
It helped hold it steady.

By focusing on quality of life, hospice allowed Jordan to conserve energy, stay as strong as possible, and face each day with dignity—whether that day brought setbacks or the possibility of a second chance at life.

Jordan’s journey reminds us that hospice is more than end-of-life care.
It is care during the fight.
Care during the waiting.
Care when the path is uncertain and the stakes are everything.

At just 17 years old, Jordan shows us what resilience looks like—and how hospice stands strong beside patients and families, no matter how complex the journey.

Jordan is only 17. An age meant for school milestones, plans for the future, and discovering who you are becoming—not facing the reality of needing another heart transplant. Yet Jordan carries a strength far beyond his years.

It gives hope that everything Jordan needs is cover 100% under hospice. If you have the chance to get hospice, do your OWN research and education on what hospice brings to the table, not just cause of the stamina if its name.

As we enter 2026, we choose to trust Him completely:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… “plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Praying for healing, peace, strength, and miracles—for Jordan, for every family walking a similar road, and for the hospice teams who serve with love and purpose.
2026, I’m coming in with faith.
My son will receive his second heart transplant.
I am claiming healing, strength, and life.
I am declaring that all my children will be healthy.
We’ve seen God move before, and He’s not done with our story.
Fear didn’t win. Faith did. 🙏🏽✨
“ Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past,See I am doing new things”-Isaiah 43:18-19
To all our family & friends; Happy New Year!

Welcome, 2026. We trust You, Lord. 🙏✨
