Every guest at The Sacred Pause received a welcome bag filled with thoughtful goodies for their stay. We thought about what they might need, what they might enjoy, and those little extras that would help them feel cared for from the very beginning. ✨

Y’all, prepare to be sick of me! 😂🇸🇻 The Sacred Pause retreat in El Salvador has come to an end, and I have SO much to share.
The pictures, the videos, the laughs, the moments… I want you to see what happened behind the scenes and feel a little of the energy we shared. 💛
Taking a sacred pause means making room to enjoy your life. To rest, laugh, explore, and reconnect with yourself and each other. There’s healing in that, too.
Watching what I planned come to life—and having my daughter there to witness it—meant more than I can say.
So consider this your warning: the retreat posts are coming! 😂 Stay close. I’m bringing you into the experience.

Yesterday reminded me that success doesn’t always look the way we expected. David (fellow Reiki Master) and I shared community Reiki at the Jubilee Homes block party, and even though the crowd was smaller than we imagined, the one-on-one connections were beautiful. One of my Reiki students stopped by, too. 💜

Sometimes success is found in the moments you didn’t plan for.

Hey y’all! If you’re in Durham this Saturday, come see us at Jubilee Home’s Block Party and Resource Fair!

David Stample of Reiki Roots with David and I will be there offering community Reiki sessions. It’s a chance to pause, relax, and release a little stress. You don’t need to know anything about Reiki. Just come as you are.

The block party is Saturday, September 26, from 11 to 3, at East Umstead and Dawkins Streets in Durham. We’ll be offering Reiki from 11:45 to 2:30. There’ll be food, music, games, and community resources too. Come through and say hey!
