Today at Swamp Jam, I had the pleasure of listening to Brittaney Robinson-Whitenhill speak about herbs, and I left feeling even more in love with plants than I already was.

What I appreciate so much about her is the way she connects herbs to astrology, intuition, texture, nature, and the way each plant actually shows up in the world.

She invites you to look at a plant and ask: What does it do in nature? How does it protect, soften, strengthen, open, or support? And how might those same qualities support us?

It is such a beautiful perspective.

Brittaney was also a past speaker at Gathering of the Goddesses, and I cannot wait to learn and experience more with her.

Sometimes the whole vibe starts with the earrings.

As a Reiki Master, I hold space for people during some of their hardest moments. Reiki can support relaxation, emotional release, clarity, and inner healing, but it is not therapy.

Sometimes healing means working with multiple kinds of support. A therapist helps you process, unpack, and work through life in ways that Reiki practitioners are not trained to do. Both can exist together beautifully.

I really did not want to do laundry today. 😂

As a wife and mother of three, I’ve washed enough clothes and sheets to last several lifetimes.

But standing there at the laundromat, I had this moment where I realized these sheets are there because I’m actually doing the work I’m supposed to be doing. I get to wash them because people are showing up, booking sessions, and allowing me to support them in a meaningful way.

And all of a sudden, laundry didn’t feel like a chore anymore. It felt like proof that I’m walking in purpose.

Funny how gratitude can show up in the most ordinary moments.
