Vaccines don't happen without clinical research — and clinical research doesn't happen without the people who volunteer to advance it.

This National Immunization Awareness Month, we're recognizing the participants, investigators, and site teams behind the vaccines protecting communities today and shaping the ones we'll need tomorrow.

The industry standard for clinical trial data entry is five days. We're doing it in one.

Velocity is proud to announce that our centralized EDC model is now entering 97% of patient data within one business day of collection — two to four days faster than the industry average — with 99% confirmed accuracy.

This isn't a pilot result. It's how we run every site, every study, across our entire global network.

For sponsors, that means near-real-time data visibility, fewer queries, faster query resolution, a cleaner path to database lock, and more predictable trial timelines. For patients, it means coordinators spending less time on data entry and more time on care.

History was made today. The FDA has approved mFLUSIVA, Moderna's first mRNA flu vaccine — the first mRNA influenza vaccine ever approved — for adults ages 50 and older. Velocity is proud to have played a meaningful role in both trials that earned this landmark approval.

In one of the studies, 35 Velocity sites worldwide — representing 11.6% of all sites on the trial — randomized over 5,800 patients, accounting for 14.2% of all patients enrolled globally. Together, those sites delivered 106.9% of our enrollment goal.

This is what Velocity at scale looks like in practice: a globally integrated network delivering consistent, high-quality results across dozens of sites, in trials that change the trajectory of public health.

Congratulations to Moderna on this historic milestone. And to the thousands of patients who gave their time and trust to participate in these trials — thank you. This approval belongs to you.

Quality isn't just a department. It's a discipline — and the numbers show it.

This year, two Velocity sites — Berlin, Germany and Savannah, GA — underwent FDA inspections, both closing with zero Form 483 observations. For context, FDA's own published data shows roughly one in four clinical investigator inspections results in a 483 being issued. Two clean inspections isn't luck. It's the output of a system.

That system runs across three dedicated teams. Quality Assurance manages controlled documents, leads internal and regulatory inspections, supports sponsor audits, and drives CAPA. Quality Systems administers our QMS, oversees company-wide training compliance, and validates new systems and processes. Quality Control applies a risk-based approach to targeted review of trial data — consent, eligibility, visit compliance, safety reporting, and source verification.

Since 2022, we've completed 156 sponsor audits — 25 in the first half of 2026 alone — plus 29 regulatory inspections. Every one is an opportunity for a sponsor or regulator to look under the hood. We welcome that scrutiny, because we build for it every day.

Findings are the industry norm. A clean record is a choice — and it takes a dedicated team of experts to make it consistently.

That's the team behind Velocity.

Everyone in clinical research is talking about AI. Fewer are actually building it.

In his latest article, Nick Spittal, COO, draws on what we've learned investing in proprietary AI tools across 70+ sites to make a case that the industry needs to hear: the networks building now are compounding an advantage that others won't easily close.

It's worth knowing which kind you're partnering with.

Clinical research has no shortage of data.

What the industry needs is intelligence.

Tyler M. Beasley, Executive Director of Business Intelligence, makes that case in a newly published piece in CIOReview — and it's a distinction worth paying attention to.

In the article, Tyler explores how business intelligence is shifting from a secondary operational function to a mission-critical one, why sponsors are no longer satisfied with retrospective reporting, and what it actually takes to transform site-level data into actionable insight that improves feasibility, enrollment, and study ex*****on.

As he puts it: the future of clinical research will not be shaped by data volume, but by how effectively organizations turn that data into actions.

The sponsor-site relationship was built for a different era. Our Chief Revenue Officer, Andrew Reina, argues it's time to update it.

In his latest article, Andrew draws on nearly two decades on the CRO side of clinical research to make the case that what sponsors need from site networks has fundamentally changed — and that most are yet to catch up. From the rise of the career PI to data maturity, AI-powered feasibility, and the operational intelligence already sitting inside site systems, the gap between what modern site networks can offer and what sponsors actually ask for has never been wider.

His conclusion: sponsors that bring their delivery partners into the conversation before a protocol is finalized will run better studies. And that conversation costs nothing.

Since 2020, Velocity Clinical Research has supported trials that contributed to 61 FDA-approved products — and we couldn't be more proud of what that represents.

Those 61 approvals span an extraordinary range of therapeutic areas: cardiovascular disease, obesity and diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, respiratory conditions including RSV and COVID-19, dermatology, liver disease, migraine, multiple sclerosis, alopecia areata, vaccines, and more. They include household names like Mounjaro, Zepbound, Wegovy, Kisunla, Rezdiffra, and Comirnaty — and countless others that are quietly changing lives for patients with rare and serious conditions.

This kind of breadth is the direct result of what happens when sites, technology, and talent operate as one unified organization. Across 70+ sites and 4 countries, with 200+ investigators and a central infrastructure built for speed, quality, and consistency, Velocity is purpose-built to support the kind of complex, high-volume trial portfolios that move science forward. Our 7x faster feasibility turnaround, integrated recruitment capabilities, and track record of meeting and exceeding enrollment goals give sponsors and CROs the confidence to bring us their most important programs.

To the sponsors and CROs who have trusted Velocity to deliver — thank you. Your confidence in our teams drives us to keep raising the bar.

To our staff across every site — the coordinators, investigators, nurses, regulatory specialists, and everyone in between — this milestone belongs to you. Your commitment to data quality and to every patient who walks through our doors is what makes results like these possible.

And to our patients — thank you. Every person who volunteers their time and health to participate in a clinical trial is helping write the next chapter of medicine. We are honored to be part of that journey with you.

Here's to the next 61.
