If the last few months have felt like one long stretch of trying to catch your breath, September may finally offer a little more room to do just that.
September is a bit of a breather after months of accelerated change, a bit of relief.
There are no eclipses. No major new outer planet alignments. And while we're certainly not out of this larger period of change, there's a little more space between the big waves. ๐
But breathing room doesn't mean nothing is happening. Think about what happens when you take a deep, intentional breath.
The exhale helps your body soften. Your nervous system settles. You release some of the tension you've been carrying.
And then you inhale.
You take something in. You create space for your body to process, integrate, and respond to what's happening around you.
September feels a little like that. An opportunity to soften some of the urgency we've been carrying, while also integrating the enormous changes already underway.
And there's actually an astrological signature supporting that exhale.
On August 31, Jupiter and Saturn formed an exact trine, creating a background feeling of optimism underneath everything else that's unfolding. ๐ช
It doesn't require you to pretend everything is okay. It doesn't ask you to ignore the uncertainty or convince yourself that we know how everything will turn out.
It's simply a reminder that we don't have to meet every unknown from a state of emergency.
Jupiter and Saturn will continue this conversation into next year, bringing expansion and stability, possibility and practicality, into flowing relationship with one another.
And then comes the inhale. ๐ฎโ๐จ
While September gives us some breathing room, the larger astrology we've been following isn't going anywhere.
Throughout the month, the faster-moving personal planets repeatedly activate the outer planet configurations that have been describing so much of the larger change unfolding around us.
Mercury does it around the September 10 New Moon. The Sun does it just after the Equinox. And Mars begins another activation as September comes to a close.
These moments are times when the larger collective astrology becomes personal.
The changes happening "out there" begin asking something of us "in here."
They show up in your conversations. Your choices. Your relationships. The things we're ready to confront, change, express, or understand differently.
One of the simplest gifts of the breath is that it brings you back to the present moment.
You inhale. You exhale. And for a moment, you're right here. ๐๐ผ
September is asking us to practice that same kind of trust.
To let what's happening be here long enough for us to experience it, respond to it, and allow it to change us.
Because when everything feels like too much, it's tempting to check out. And when everything feels uncertain, it's tempting to race ahead searching for answers.
The breath offers another way.
Be here. Take this breath. Trust that the next one will come.
Rest when you need to rest. And when you have the capacity, come back.
One breath at a time.
With love, Amanda AstrologyHub
