A morning well spent investing in the most important business of all — YOU!

I had the opportunity to speak at the Vilas County Economic Development Corporation’s wellness event, sharing the importance of bone health and how we can take proactive steps to protect our strength and independence for years to come.

It was wonderful connecting with local women in business who are passionate about supporting one another, prioritizing their health, and building a stronger community.

I especially enjoyed meeting Stacy Winter, a local physician assistant from Nova Integrated Care who shared her expertise in women’s preventive health. She is a standout provider who prioritizes individualized care and takes the time to truly listen to her patients. We’re lucky to have her in our community.

One of my favorite parts of being a physical therapist is educating my patients and empowering them with the knowledge they need to take an active role in their health.

So, I’m bringing that passion beyond the walls of Vitality!l. Over the next six months, I’ll be visiting local businesses throughout the community to share education on a variety of topics, from bone health and osteoporosis to posture, balance, and more. It’s things like this that make Eagle River extra special! 🍂🤎 thank you Eagle River Revitalization Program for letting us participate in Adopt-A-Pole!

Take a stroll through downtown and check out all the amazing fall decorations created by local businesses—and of course, be sure to stop by the Vitality pole! 💪🏼

Our pole is a little different—you can actually grab a resistance band and get moving! Whether you’re out for a walk, grabbing a coffee from The Daily Grind, or meeting friends at Toad in the Hole, take a minute to squeeze in a few squats, rows, lateral steps, or pull-aparts.

Because movement doesn’t have to mean a trip to the gym. Sometimes it’s just a resistance band, a few minutes, and a little creativity. 🍁

We love being part of a community that makes downtown feel so welcoming, festive, and fun! 🧡
