🎒 Is your child’s backpack too heavy?
Aim for about 10 percent of their body weight. For a 70 pound child, roughly 7 pounds.
The simplest test: if they lean forward to walk with it, it’s too heavy. Swipe for the rest. 💙

How much screen time is okay during the school year? There is no one number that fits every child. What matters is that screen time is not replacing sleep, physical activity, or family time.

A few things that help: keep screens away during meals and before bed, and aim for at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. 💙
