🌈 Pride can look different for everyone.

It can be a process of understanding yourself more clearly, finding language that fits, and building the confidence to take up space in ways that feel true.

It can also be collective: community, support, belonging, and moments of being seen without needing to explain yourself.

However it shows up, it matters.

At Yoga Medicine, we believe yoga should feel expansive, human, and accessible to a wide range of identities, lived experiences, and perspectives.

This month is a reminder of the importance of continuing to create spaces where people feel safe to show up more fully as themselves…

And of the people and communities helping make those spaces possible. 🫶

Hello friends, I am excited to share that I will be offering my Sunday class as a donation based class in collaboration with Creative Wellness to support East Aurora Special Education PTSA as part of Inclusion week in our community- which corresponds to the inclusion week celebration within the school district. Please come join me!

East Aurora School District’s Inclusion Week (3/16–3/20) highlights the importance of belonging for all students in our community while celebrating neurodiversity and increasing awareness and understanding of disabilities.

Proceeds from this class will go directly to EASEPTSA which provides resources, programming, and inclusive opportunities for students with disabilities across the district.

You can drop in or sign up in the Mindbody app.

During Inclusion Week, students across the district will celebrate with a Spirit Week, dressing in different colors to help raise awareness of developmental differences:
💙 Blue – Autism
💚 Green – Cerebral Palsy
🌈 Rainbow – Williams Syndrome
🦓 Zebra (black/white) – Rare Genetic Diseases & Diagnoses
💙💛 Blue/Yellow and/or Mismatched Socks – Down Syndrome
