Labor Day Weekend is here!

As we enjoy the long weekend with cookouts, get togethers, and time with family and friends, remember: young people are watching and learning from the adults around them.

Show them that celebrating and having fun doesn’t have to revolve around alcohol or other substances. Choose activities that bring people together, model healthy decisions, and create memories everyone can feel good about.

The example we set today can help shape the choices they make tomorrow.

Have a safe, healthy and happy Labor Day weekend from ITAC!

ITAC extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and community of Marilla Supervisor Earl “Skip” Gingerich following his passing.

Skip was a strong supporter of ITAC’s mission to create a healthier, safer, and drug-free future for our youth.

We are grateful for the many ways he championed prevention in our community, from the Town’s proclamation in support of Red Ribbon Week and new signage promoting safe and healthy public spaces to the inclusion of ITAC on the Town’s welcome signs in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Marilla. He also generously supported ITAC through personal donations at our events. Most importantly, Skip believed in and publicly recognized our youth and encouraged them to make healthy choices and to continue to be positive members of their community.

Skip’s dedication to Marilla and his belief in investing in the well-being of future generations made a lasting difference. Our thoughts are with those who loved him.
