The Holy Spirit asked me this morning:

“Do you know how much love it takes to heal?”

It takes love to look honestly at what happened.

It takes love to feel what we once had to bury.

It takes love to forgive without pretending the pain did not matter.

It takes love to break a generational cycle without condemning the generations who came before us.

It takes love to release the need to rescue everyone.

It takes love to choose boundaries, truth, responsibility, and freedom.

Healing is not simply letting go of pain. It is loving ourselves enough to stop allowing that pain to direct our lives.

Do you know how much love it takes to heal?

It takes the love of your soul.
It takes the love of God.
It takes the love that refuses to let darkness have the final word.

Love is not merely part of healing.
Love is the courage healing requires.
