With our Grand Opening tomorrow, we wanted to introduce the owner and founder of The Reset Room, Mckenzie Owens! ✨
As a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer (ATC), Certified EMT, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Mckenzie brings a holistic, clinical, and performance-based approach to recovery, movement, and body maintenance. With a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and specialized training in techniques such as RockTape Cupping and Graston Technique, her focus is on helping not only athletes, but also physically active individuals—those who train hard, stay busy, and place consistent demands on their bodies—recover effectively, prevent injury, and continue performing at their best.
Mckenzie founded The Reset Room to bridge the gap between training and recovery. She recognized a need for accessible, recovery-focused services that go beyond traditional options and bring Athletic Training–modeled care to everyday active individuals. Athletic training services are not limited to elite or competitive athletes—they are designed to support anyone looking to improve recovery, optimize movement, reduce injury risk, and maintain an active lifestyle safely and consistently.
The Reset Room was built to bring that level of care to East Haven, supporting the bodies behind the work with intentional, results-driven recovery. By combining clinical knowledge, hands-on recovery techniques, and strength and conditioning principles, Mckenzie’s mission is to help physically active individuals recover with intention, move efficiently, and continue performing the activities that matter most to them.
✨ Elite-level treatment shouldn’t be exclusive.
