A strong core leads to better posture, balance and, ultimately, spine alignment. Here's another easy exercise to strengthen your core:

Dead Bug:

Start out lying on your back with your knees bent and your arms up in the air - like a dead bug

Slowly lower your right leg almost to the ground by straightening your knee while simultaneously lowering your left arm to the ground behind your head

As you bring your right leg and left arm back to starting position, lower your left leg and right arm.

Repeat this slow, smooth movement for 30-45 seconds

Be mindful of engaging abdominal muscles and keeping the low back to the floor.

Knee Lifts:

Stand with feet shoulder width apart
Hands on hips, stand tall, shoulders square, head up
Lift and lower right knee in a controlled motion
Lift and lower left knee in a controlled motion
Repeat for 30-45 seconds

Lower intensity by performing this exercise from a seated position.
