Please join us for a town hall for IHSS recipients across the state on Wednesday, February 8 at 4pm. The town hall will be an exciting, energizing virtual gathering that will bring together IHSS recipients, providers, and allies from all over California to learn about how we can organize and advocate to transform the IHSS system to work better for homecare recipients and workers. We will be building on our year of campaigning to support the Time for $20 campaign to raise wages for IHSS workers to $20 in various counties, including Los Angeles and Alameda. The event will feature stories from IHSS recipients about the importance of IHSS to them and their vision for the future of IHSS, a message of solidarity from an IHSS provider, and tools to take action together.
The town hall is hosted by the Long-Term Services and Supports for All Grassroots Coalition, a coalition of 17 organizations across California, including the Disability Organizing Network, Hand in Hand: The Domestic Employers Network, the California Alliance for Retired Americans, and the California Domestic Workers Coalition.

Our revised organizational pamphlet!
We just submitted our first copyright, 6 documents, with more planned in the near future! Working on getting presentation invites as well, slowly but surely!
