🌿 A New Season of Wellness at Niantic Acupuncture 🌿
As the seasons change, our bodies must change with them.
Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches us that our health is deeply connected to the natural world. The heat and moisture of late summer can affect digestion, energy, and mental clarity. As we transition into the cooler, drier days of fall, our focus begins to shift toward supporting the Lung system, strengthening our protective energy—known as Wei Qi—and preparing the body for winter.
Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing seasonal wellness education, nourishing foods, herbal traditions, simple self-care practices, and ways to better understand your own constitution.
We will also be highlighting the local farmers, wellness practitioners, and small-business owners who are helping us build a healthier, more connected, and more conscious community.
Not every food, herb, or tonic is appropriate for every person. True wellness begins with learning what your individual body needs.
Together, we can reconnect with the wisdom of the seasons, support our local community, and become more active participants in our own health.
