When I look at these pictures, I don’t just see physical changes

I see:

🦋 mindset shifts
🦋 healing
🦋 growth
🦋 breaking unhealthy habits
🦋 learning to trust myself
🦋 finding peace w/ food
🦋 creating a healthier lifestyle that I could actually maintain

The truth is, the biggest transformation wasn’t what happened on the outside

It was what happened on the inside 🙌🏼

Because there was a time when I felt completely lost

I was the person who “knew what to do”

🦋 Struggling w/ nighttime cravings? Try this 👀✨

One of the most common things I hear is:

👉 “I do great all day…& then nighttime hits.” 😅

Trust me, I get it

But here’s something I’ve learned on my own journey:

Most nighttime cravings aren’t actually hunger

They’re usually one of these:
🦋 habit
🦋 boredom
🦋 stress
🦋 exhaustion
🦋 not eating enough protein during the day

So before you head to the pantry tonight, ask yourself:

“Am I truly hungry…or am I looking for something else?”

Here are a few things that help me:

✨ Make sure you’re getting enough protein at every meal
✨ Don’t skip meals during the day
✨ Stay hydrated (thirst can disguise itself as hunger)
✨ Create a nighttime routine that doesn’t revolve around food
✨ Brush your teeth after your last meal as a signal that the kitchen is closed?😏

Yesterday we talked about how the work of your hands brings a reward & how every healthy choice is a seed you’re planting for your future 💕

Today, I want to remind you of something important…

👉 Just because you can’t see the harvest yet doesn’t mean it’s not growing

Sometimes we expect immediate results

We want:
🦋 the weight loss now
🦋 the energy now
🦋 the confidence now
🦋 the healthier body now

But that’s not usually how growth works

A farmer doesn’t plant seeds & dig them up every day to see if they’re growing 🌱

They trust the process.
They stay consistent.
They keep tending the soil.

& that’s exactly what you need to do w/ your health journey

Every healthy meal.
Every workout.
Every walk.
Every glass of water.
Every choice to keep going when you’d rather quit

It all matters 🙌🏼

The seeds you’re planting today are creating the person you’ll be tomorrow

So don’t stop because the results aren’t happening as fast as you’d like

Don’t quit because progress feels slow

Keep planting.
Keep believing.
Keep showing up.

Because one day you’ll look back & realize those little daily choices changed everything 💪🏼💕

🦋 Your health journey is producing fruit, even when you can’t see it yet

“From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward.”
- Proverbs 12:14

One of the hardest parts of a health journey is that sometimes the reward doesn’t come immediately

You eat the healthy meal…
You take the walk…
You hit the workout…
You choose the protein…
& the next day?

Nothing seems different 😅

But God’s Word reminds us that the work of our hands brings a reward 🙏🏼

Notice it doesn’t say instant reward

It says reward 💕

Every healthy choice you make is a seed

🦋 Every workout
🦋 Every nourishing meal
🦋 Every glass of water
🦋 Every time you choose consistency over quitting

Those seeds are producing fruit, even when you can’t see it yet 🌱

As a health coach, one of the biggest mindset shifts I’ve learned is that success isn’t found in one perfect day

Success is found in faithfully doing the little things over & over again

& eventually?
The harvest comes 🙌🏼

Better energy.
Better health.
Better habits.
A stronger body.
A healthier mindset.

So if you’ve been feeling discouraged because your progress feels slow, remember this:

Today was one of those days that simply filled my heart 🥹

I got to spend time w/ my BFF, whose more like my sister & bring out families together like cousins 🥹❤️

& honestly?
This relationship is such a gift 🙏🏼🥰

As a health coach, we spend so much time talking about:
🥗 nutrition
💪🏼 exercise
💧 hydration
😴 sleep

But healthy relationships matter too

In fact, they may be one of the most overlooked pieces of wellness 💕

There is something so healing about:
🦋 laughing until your cheeks hurt
🦋 sharing a meal together
🦋 having people who know the real you
🦋 feeling loved, supported, & seen

Those moments fill your cup in a way that food, workouts, & supplements never can

Health isn’t just about what you eat
It’s also about who you do life w/ ❤️

Today was full of good conversation, lots of laughs, & the kind of friendship that reminds you how blessed you truly are

& for that, I’m incredibly grateful 🙏🏼

🦋 One of my favorite trends in the health space right now is focusing on BLOOD SUGAR instead of just calories 👏🏼✨

For years, the conversation was all about:

❌ calories in vs calories out
❌ eating less
❌ white-knuckling hunger

But now?

People are finally talking about something that many of us in the THM world have known for years…

👉 Stable blood sugar changes EVERYTHING.

& that’s why I’m loving this trend 💕

When your blood sugar is balanced, you tend to have:

🦋 fewer cravings
🦋 better energy
🦋 less afternoon crashes
🦋 better mood
🦋 improved hunger cues

Instead of constantly thinking about how much you’re eating, you start thinking about HOW you’re eating

✨ Protein first
✨ Pairing carbs wisely
✨ Not living on sugar & processed snacks
✨ Eating foods that actually keep you full

It’s such a simple concept, but it can be a total game changer 🙌🏼

Honestly, one of the biggest reasons I’ve been able to stay consistent over the years is because I stopped trying to “eat less” & started focusing on nourishing my body better

That’s a trend I hope never goes away 💪🏼💕

🦋 For years my life felt like a roller coaster 🎢

But not the kind most people think of…

I’m talking about gaining & losing
👉 100–150 lbs at a time.

Extreme ups.
Extreme downs.
Starting over over & over again.

& honestly?
It was exhausting - mentally, emotionally, & physically 💔

But something incredible has happened over these last 7 years…

✨ I finally stabilized. ✨

Yes, I’ve still had weight gain…
but almost all of it has been connected to my pregnancies, carrying & bringing my babies into this world 💕

& each time, I’ve been able to lose the weight again - w/out going back to the extreme cycles I used to live in

That alone is a HUGE transformation for me. 🙌🏼

& this postpartum season?
I’m approaching it differently

🦋 I’m less obsessed w/ rushing back
🦋 I’m listening to my body more
🦋 I’m allowing healing to happen
🦋 I’m focusing on sustainability instead of urgency

Because after everything my body has carried & overcome…
it deserves grace too 💕

& honestly?
I’m proud of where I am today

Not because I’ve “arrived”…
but because I finally trust myself & trust the process

& I know with confidence that I will get where I want to be 🙌🏼

🦋Real life check-in…

Unfortunately, I had to take this entire week off from working out because this cold hit me HARD 🤧😅
But thankfully, it finally seems to be going away 🙌🏼

& honestly?
Old me would’ve panicked about missing workouts

But this version of me understands something different now:
👉 healing & recovery matter too

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is rest & let your body recover 💕

& even with taking the week off…
I’m currently about 12 lbs away from my first big goal - getting back into Onderland 🎉

Which honestly feels SO exciting 🙌🏼

Now yes, I do have an ultimate goal weight I’ve thought about for years…but something HUGE has shifted in me this postpartum journey:

🦋 I’m no longer obsessing over the number
🦋 I’m no longer rushing the process
🦋 I’m no longer putting pressure on myself to get there fast

I truly want my body to get there:
✨ naturally
✨ healthfully
✨ sustainably
✨ in its own timing

Whether that’s slow or quick…I’m allowing my body to lead the way this time!💕

& honestly?
That mindset shift may be the healthiest transformation of all

Because I feel GOOD
I feel hopeful
& I finally feel at peace w/ the journey while still being excited for where I’m headed 🙌🏼
