It’s been the summer of cars. One dying. One needing intensive care. One being purchased. Two being dragged off by tow trucks. Cracked windshields, bad bearings, worn wipers. Gas prices causing limitations. Being grounded. Driving to music while sobbing. Even the car wash peeled off more paint. And air conditioning…nope, not much comfort during the hard parts. It must be a part of the new foundation this family is building. We have all been knocking down the old stuff and getting to the core of the problems. Our vehicles are an extension of our energy. Multiple mechanics, constant deliveries of parts, relentless trouble shooting…and we might just all be ready to put our lives into DRIVE soon. For some it will be health, for others jobs, or relationships, or homes….where are you rebuilding your life? Whatever the story, the house in your chart…you’ve got this!

I have no doubt you’ve been feeling this! It’s all happening in Pisces as well so emotions and tears will be a part of the purge. But mmmmm…. I am loving what I’m feeling as we move into this fresh new space. Let Virgo season help clean up the mess this eclipse party rager season has left behind. I’ll grab the broom and the garbage bags and you bring some snacks…we got this!

My husband had his new used car for minutes…and there is a new crack in the windshield. My phone protector has a big crack as well…and I typically brag about never needing new ones. Then I sit down to lunch at a brand new restaurant after seeing his cracked windshield and look up at this! I speak a lot about the symbolism that tries to show us things and also how our things are an extension of our energy. So I’ll mention it here as well. Are you looking through a lens that has a crack in it? Do you see things through an old, dirty or shattered viewpoint? If so, it’s time to heal the old trauma, refresh the story, and get some new glass. The world is hard enough without a view that’s been compromised. New windshield is coming today. May it be physical and spiritual!

As the old kitchen flower bouquets die, I always make new mini ones. I stretch the lives of the healthy blooms by putting them in smaller bud vases. One for my desk, one for the powder room, one in the hall bathroom. This way a little bit of sweetness is spread out as far as possible. Sometimes there are even a few yard blossoms mixed in!

More construction is underway in my life. This time it’s the local Y. When I first moved here, this building turned out to be so important to me. I was a camp counselor for two summers while getting my teaching degree. I made friends, was trained to be a lifeguard, worked out, and went to lots of fitness classes. It was a staple in my life. And then through time I would return. Sometimes to get in shape after having a baby, or when my mental health needed it, and now it’s been a staple for post cancer rehab. And after DECADES of it being the same old space, it is being ripped up to make a new one. The timing isn’t lost on me. Here are some spray paint plans of what is coming. Get out your spray paint and tell the universe what your plans are! We have building to do!
