Food insecurity in rural areas across the US is at a high, consistently exceeding national averages. Taking action doesn't have to be complicated; you can start today by filling out the WAFOOD survey.

Responses will help local and state organizations understand what’s working, where gaps remain, and how to better direct food resources to Washingtonians experiencing food insecurity. This is exactly why its critical for rural voices to be represented.

As more people are drawn here to live, work, and explore the outdoors, our natural spaces are feeling the strain. This April, partners will have the opportunity to meet Lisa Foster and learn about how TREAD is bringing people together to better plan and manage outdoor recreation across the region.

Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or simply curious about sustainable recreation, there's a place for you in this conversation.
