, this therapy has been frequently used for pharmacotherapy and kinesiotherapy that were applied in rheumatologic and neurological diseases. However, recently its application has been effective for quicker athletic recovery and also for cosmetic enhancements. Cryotherapy by definition is the lowering of one’s body temperature as a curative health and wellness treatment. Increasing amounts of research has outlined the positive effects this therapy has on several different aspects of a person’s health. This is a well-known therapy performed in Europe since the 1980s but has not gained popularity in America until recently.

As we end another year, and this decade, I want to give everyone a sincere huge and THANK YOU for helping Nordic Edge spread its message of all-around health and wellness as far as it has gone. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all of you supporting us. Thank you especially to the Eastchester community (family) that started it all!

People have been focused on health and wellness now more than ever, and I hope that trend will continue in 2020. This is the year (and decade) for people to take action and make their health and well-being their priority. I know I have. Exercise regularly, eat well, sleep even better, and let us help you go above and beyond :)
